Six representative phones listed by Indian comparison sites use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G: POCO X5 Pro, vivo V29, OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G, Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A52s 5G and Galaxy M52 5G. The chipset is shared, but the phones differ in display, cameras, battery, charging and memory. Some models date back to 2021–2023, so check software-support status, condition, warranty and live seller pricing before buying.
What the Snapdragon 778G tells you—and what it doesn’t
Qualcomm describes the Snapdragon 778G as a 6nm 5G mobile platform with a Kryo 670 CPU, Adreno 642L GPU, X53 5G modem-RF system and Quick Charge 4+ support. Those are platform-level capabilities, not a promise that every phone implements the same features, charging speeds or network bands. Check the specific handset and variant. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G product listing provides the platform description.

Samsung’s 2021 Galaxy M52 5G launch announcement quoted Qualcomm India’s Sachin Kalantri calling the platform designed to offer “many premium experiences.” That is a company representative’s description, not an independent performance result. Similarly, Samsung’s published comparisons of CPU, GPU and AI improvements versus the predecessor are manufacturer claims, not independent testing.

If your budget is around ₹25,000
The POCO X5 Pro is the one in this representative list with a 91mobiles October 2026 snapshot below ₹25,000: ₹24,499 for its listed 6GB/128GB configuration. That figure is not a guaranteed live offer. Confirm the exact variant, stock, seller, new or refurbished condition, warranty and final checkout total before purchase.
If you care about storage or memory
Compare the exact configuration, not just the model name. The listings show the POCO X5 Pro in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G in 12GB/256GB, and the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The listed variants for the vivo V29, Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A52s 5G are 8GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB respectively. Check the seller listing for the precise variant offered.
If charging speed matters
The reported charging figures vary considerably: 67W for the POCO X5 Pro, 80W for the vivo V29 and OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G, and 25W for the three Samsung models in this comparison. These are listed device specifications, not a guarantee of real-world charging time; charger inclusion and charging behavior can also depend on the specific retail package and conditions.
If you are choosing for cameras or display
Compare the handset’s camera arrangement and display details rather than assuming the chipset determines them. The listed rear-camera configurations range from three cameras on the POCO, vivo and OPPO to four on the Samsung A-series models. The POCO X5 Pro and vivo V29 are reported at 120Hz by Smartprix; Samsung’s M52 announcement specifies a 120Hz panel. A higher megapixel count or refresh rate alone does not establish overall camera quality or display performance.
Check age, support and seller details before buying
These are not all recent releases. Samsung announced the Galaxy M52 5G in September 2021, and several other listed models also come from earlier phone generations. The cited listings do not establish each model’s remaining Android-version or security-update support. Check the manufacturer’s current support information for the exact model and region before treating an older phone as a long-term purchase.
Quick Recap
