That six-year statement should be checked against the exact model’s footnote, purchase market, and support terms. A support promise can have a start date, regional conditions, or model-specific wording; do not transfer it automatically to an A-series phone not covered by the page.

Assuming “latest” means worldwide availability
The lineup described here is US-focused. Samsung’s regional catalogs can list different models, configurations, release dates, and carrier versions. Identify your country before comparing.

Samsung reported that Z-series preorders were more than 30% higher than for the previous generation. That is a Samsung-reported comparison, not independent market research and not evidence that a Fold8 or Flip8 is right for your needs.
A practical decision path
- If you need the lowest-cost current Samsung option, begin with A57 5G and A37 5G, then verify their exact specifications and six-year support terms.
- If you want a conventional flagship, compare S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra by size, camera features, storage, battery requirements, and the current price difference.
