The OnePlus 15 has the longest result in Tom’s Guide’s March 2026 battery-life roundup: 25 hours 13 minutes in that publisher’s scripted web-browsing test. That is a test result, not a promise of a day—or more—of identical use. Other phones on the list also ran for more than 18 hours, but comparisons need care because Tom’s Guide says the roundup includes results from two test generations.
Longest-lasting phones in Tom’s Guide’s 2026 test
The times below are Tom’s Guide results, not standardized runtimes or guaranteed daily battery life. Its roundup, last updated 11 March 2026, says older devices were tested with a previous version of its test and newer devices with an updated version. Treat the figures as a useful shortlist, not a perfectly controlled ranking across every generation.

What the OnePlus 15 results say about different kinds of use

| PhoneArena measure | OnePlus 15 result |
|---|---|
| Battery capacity | 7,300 mAh |
| Battery-life estimate | 10h 44m |
| Web browsing | 30h 6m |
| Video | 12h 37m |
| Gaming | 14h 16m |
These are PhoneArena figures; its browsing time is not the same test as Tom’s Guide’s web-browsing result, so the two publishers’ times should not be merged or used as a direct cross-check. PhoneArena says it tests browsing, video streaming and 3D gaming over Wi-Fi, equalizes screen brightness with professional equipment, and disables apps that generate frequent notifications. Its combined Battery Score is meant as a quick comparison and roughly corresponds to real-world screen time.

Why battery-test rankings do not always agree
Tom’s Guide: scripted web browsing
Tom’s Guide sets brightness to 150 nits and runs a script that browses the web in the default browser until the phone runs out of power. Its rankings use default settings, and the publication may test different refresh rates to examine their effect. The result is most useful if your own use resembles that workload; video, gaming, calls and standby can produce different runtimes.

PhoneArena: separate workload results
PhoneArena reports web browsing, video streaming and 3D gaming separately, using Wi-Fi and equalized screen brightness. Look at the category closest to your routine instead of treating one activity’s result as a universal runtime.
GSMArena: active-use score
GSMArena Battery Life Test 2.0 combines call, web browsing, video streaming and gaming into an Active Use Score. GSMArena says this newer score cannot be compared with its older endurance rating: the older rating included standby power, while the current active-use score does not.

How to choose a phone for your own battery needs
- Match the test to your routine. If you spend hours browsing, prioritize a web-browsing result. For frequent streaming or gaming, check those workload results rather than relying on a web-only time.
- Compare within one publisher and test generation. In particular, Tom’s Guide flags two test versions in its roundup, so its listed times are not all directly like-for-like.
- Use capacity as context, not a ranking. A milliamp-hour figure describes battery capacity; endurance also reflects the complete phone and the conditions under which it was tested.
- Consider charging separately. Fast charging can make it easier to top up, but it does not extend the time the phone can run when no outlet is available. GSMArena distinguishes charging convenience from endurance.
- Check the exact version available to you. Before buying, verify the model variant, local network-band support, software-support terms, price and regional stock. These details can vary and are not established by the battery results above.
How the shortlist compares with Tom’s Guide’s own yardstick
Tom’s Guide says the average phone lasts about 11 hours in its battery test, and that the strongest phones it has tested tend to reach 16 hours or longer. Those are that publisher’s observations about its own test—not a universal phone average or a forecast of everyday use. The OnePlus 15’s 25:13 is the longest result in the cited roundup, while several listed phones exceed 18 hours in the same roundup’s reported results.
