The best fast charger for the standard Google Pixel 11 is a USB-C power adapter that explicitly supports USB Power Delivery PPS and provides at least 30 W. Google says that combination can charge the Pixel 11 to up to 55% in about 30 minutes. The adapter is sold separately, while the phone box includes a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
Google also specifies up to 25 W wireless charging with a Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap charger. That is the convenient wireless option, but wired PPS charging is the straightforward choice when your priority is the fastest charging Google documents.

Pixel 11 charger requirements at a glance
This guide covers the standard Google Pixel 11, not the Pixel 11 Pro XL. The larger Pro XL has different charging limits, so do not apply this advice to that model without checking its own specifications. The charging figures below come from Google Store specifications and Google Pixel Help guidance available globally, with the UK product page used as corroboration. The pages were checked on October 13, 2026.

| Charging method | What to buy or use | Google’s stated capability | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fast wired charging | USB-C adapter with PPS, rated at 30 W or higher | Up to 55% in about 30 minutes | This is Google’s specification, not an independently verified result for every charger, cable, temperature or charge cycle. |
| Google-branded wired options | Google 30 W, 45 W or 67 W USB-C Fast Charger | Suitable for the cited fast-charge setup | Choose based on size, ports and how many devices you need to charge. |
| General USB Power Delivery | USB Power Delivery adapter rated at 15 W or more | Can charge the phone | Google’s 15 W floor is not the requirement for the stated 55%-in-30-minutes rate; that rate calls for at least 30 W with PPS. |
| USB-A charging | USB-A-to-USB-C cable and a compatible adapter | Works, but more slowly than USB-C charging | Use USB-C-to-USB-C when fast charging matters. |
| Wireless charging | Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap charger | Up to 25 W | Google does not publish a wireless time comparison with wired charging in the cited material. |
The key buying test is therefore not the largest number printed on a box. It is whether the exact USB-C output lists PPS and at least 30 W.

Why PPS matters more than a high wattage number
USB Power Delivery is the charging system; Programmable Power Supply, or PPS, is the adjustable mode Google identifies for the Pixel 11’s stated fast-charge performance. An adapter can advertise 65 W, 100 W or more and still fail to provide the PPS profile the phone needs for that documented rate. Wattage alone is not proof of compatibility.
When you compare adapters, look for the exact model’s technical sheet or label to say “USB-C PPS.” A generic claim such as “fast charging,” “Power Delivery,” or “high output” is not enough to establish PPS. If an adapter has several USB-C ports, check whether the PPS output remains available when another port is occupied; multi-port power allocation can differ by model.
Google’s support guidance names its own 30 W, 45 W and 67 W USB-C Fast Chargers, and says a third-party PPS adapter rated at 30 W or more is suitable for the faster Pixel phones listed, including Pixel 11. That establishes a compatibility class, not a ranking of every third-party charger.
Choosing the right wired charger size
30 W PPS: the direct match
A 30 W USB-C PPS adapter is the simplest choice if you primarily charge one Pixel 11. It meets Google’s minimum rating for the cited fast-charge result without adding a larger power brick than necessary. Search listings and specifications for the exact phrase “30 W USB-C PPS charger,” then confirm the model-specific output table before buying.
A 30 W label without PPS is not equivalent. Likewise, a PPS label with less than 30 W does not meet the requirement attached to Google’s up-to-55%-in-about-30-minutes figure.
45 W PPS: useful headroom and flexibility
A 45 W Google USB-C Fast Charger is one of the named compatible options. A third-party 45 W adapter can also be considered when its specification explicitly includes PPS. The extra capacity can be useful if you want to charge another compatible device from a second output, but inspect the combined-output table: some adapters reduce the Pixel-facing port’s available power when ports are used together.
Do not describe 45 W as making the Pixel 11 charge 50% faster than with 30 W. Google’s cited material does not provide such a comparison, and the phone’s own charging behavior, battery level and temperature affect the result.
67 W PPS: best when one brick serves several devices
Google lists a 67 W USB-C Fast Charger among its suitable adapters. A 67 W third-party model is only a candidate if its USB-C output also supports PPS and its power-sharing rules fit your setup. The higher label can be worthwhile for a laptop, tablet and phone combination, but it does not by itself demonstrate a higher Pixel 11 charging rate.
For a single phone carried in a small bag, a 67 W unit may be larger than needed. For a desk or travel kit replacing several chargers, its additional ports and total capacity may justify the size. Compare physical dimensions, port count and simultaneous-output limits rather than choosing solely by wattage.

- The charger works with all your Google Pixel devices, including Pixel phones, Pixel Buds, the Pixel Tablet, and even your laptop[1,2]
- Powers up your Google Pixel 9 Pro XL to 70% battery in about 30 minutes[3]

15 W or higher USB Power Delivery: compatible, but not the fast-charge target
Google says other USB Power Delivery adapters rated at 15 W or more can be used. This is useful if you already own a modest USB-C PD adapter or need a backup. It should be understood as a general compatibility floor, not as an alternative specification for the 55%-in-about-30-minutes claim. For that stated rate, use at least 30 W and PPS.
How to check a charger’s specification before buying
- Identify the exact model. Do not rely on a product family name or a photograph of a similar revision. Find the model number printed on the adapter or in the listing’s technical specification.
- Confirm a USB-C output. USB-A-only adapters do not provide the USB-C-to-USB-C setup Google describes for the faster result.
- Find PPS in the output table. Look for “PPS” beside the USB-C port, with voltage and current ranges. A plain “PD” entry does not establish PPS.
- Check the PPS power rating. The adapter should provide at least 30 W through its USB-C PPS profile, not merely 30 W as a theoretical total across all ports.
- Read simultaneous-use rules. If another port is used, verify how much power remains on the USB-C port connected to the Pixel 11.
- Check the cable arrangement. A USB-C-to-USB-C cable is needed for the USB-C setup. The Pixel 11 package includes a 1 m cable, so purchase another cable only for a spare, a different location or a longer reach.
- Review regional and safety markings. Make sure the adapter is approved for your electrical system and that its instructions identify compatible USB Power Delivery use.
If a listing omits the PPS profile, treat compatibility with the cited fast-charge rate as unverified rather than assuming the largest wattage number covers it.

- Plug the USB-C PPS adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
- Connect the included 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable, or a known-good replacement, to the adapter’s USB-C port.
- Connect the other end to the Pixel 11’s USB-C port.
- Allow the phone and adapter to negotiate their USB Power Delivery profile. Keep the adapter’s other ports unused if its specification says that simultaneous use reduces the primary port’s output.
- For a meaningful check against Google’s specification, start with a normally operating phone and note that the “up to 55% in about 30 minutes” statement is a top-line specification, not a guaranteed result for every session.
Charging speed can vary with battery level, device temperature, active use, software activity and the particular adapter and cable. The cited Google material does not provide an independent test protocol, so do not treat one session as proof that every 30 W PPS charger will produce the same percentage.
Wireless alternative: Qi2.2 Pixelsnap charging
Google lists Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap charging up to 25 W for Pixel 11. Choose a wireless charger whose specifications explicitly identify Qi2.2 compatibility and the power level it can deliver. The phone’s ceiling is 25 W; a wireless pad advertising a higher number does not raise that ceiling.
Wireless charging is useful at a desk, bedside or in a vehicle where placing the phone on a pad is more convenient than plugging in. It also avoids occupying the phone’s USB-C port. The trade-off is that Google’s cited sources do not compare wireless charging time with wired PPS charging, so the 25 W figure should not be converted into a promised time-to-charge.
Check the alignment guidance supplied with the charger and keep the phone centered on the charging surface. If a case or accessory interferes with alignment, remove it temporarily when troubleshooting. These are practical setup checks; they do not change Google’s 25 W specification.

Cable guidance for Pixel 11
The box listing includes one 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable. That is sufficient for the standard wired setup, so a cable is not automatically required when you buy an adapter. A second cable makes sense when you want one permanently at work, in a travel bag or beside the bed, or when 1 m is too short for your outlet location.
For the fastest wired configuration, use USB-C at both ends and pair it with the PPS adapter’s USB-C port. Google says USB-A-to-USB-C charging is slower than using a USB-C adapter and USB-C cable. A cable advertised for high wattage cannot add PPS capability to an adapter that lacks PPS.
Best choice by use case
| Your situation | Most sensible specification | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| One Pixel 11, smallest practical charger | 30 W USB-C PPS | PPS is listed for the USB-C output and the rating is at least 30 W. |
| Phone plus another device at a desk | 45 W USB-C PPS or a higher-capacity multi-port adapter | Power sharing does not reduce the Pixel-facing port below the needed PPS profile. |
| Phone, tablet and laptop from one brick | 67 W USB-C PPS or another higher-capacity PPS model | Total output, per-port limits, and simultaneous-use behavior. |
| Existing USB-C PD adapter | 15 W or more can charge the phone | Expect this to be a compatibility option, not the documented 30 W PPS fast-charge setup unless PPS and the required rating are present. |
| Bedside or desk convenience | Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap charger, up to 25 W | Qi2.2 certification, stated output and reliable alignment. |
| USB-A charger already on hand | USB-A-to-USB-C cable | It will charge more slowly than the USB-C adapter and cable arrangement. |
Troubleshooting when Pixel 11 charging seems slow
The adapter is rated 65 W or 100 W, but the phone does not show the expected speed
Recheck the exact model’s USB-C output table for PPS. A high total wattage is not evidence of PPS. If PPS is absent or not available on the port you are using, switch to an adapter that explicitly provides at least 30 W PPS.

The charger supports PPS, but another device is connected
Disconnect the second device and test again. If charging improves, consult the adapter’s simultaneous-output specification. Multi-port adapters may divide their capacity, and the relevant question is the power available on the Pixel 11’s port while the other port is active.
You are using USB-A
Move to a USB-C-to-USB-C cable and a USB-C adapter. Google specifically identifies USB-A-to-USB-C as slower than the USB-C arrangement.
The cable is damaged, loose or too short for a stable setup
Try the included 1 m cable if it is available, reseat both connectors and test with a known-good USB-C-to-USB-C replacement. Buy a longer cable only when the included length does not suit the outlet or charging location.
Wireless charging is intermittent
Confirm that the pad is Qi2.2-certified, place the phone centrally, and temporarily remove a case or accessory that may prevent proper contact or alignment. A wireless charger’s advertised maximum cannot exceed the Pixel 11’s stated 25 W ceiling.
The phone becomes warm or charging slows later in the session
Do not interpret the “up to 55% in about 30 minutes” specification as a constant charging rate from empty to full. Charging behavior changes as the battery fills, and temperature and active use can affect a session. Stop using an adapter that is damaged, unusually hot or showing other signs of failure, and follow the adapter and phone safety instructions.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesElectrical and safety details
Google’s safety guide describes USB Power Delivery fast charging and lists electrical limits for Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro of up to 11 V DC at 3 A when using USB PD 3.0 PPS-enabled adapters. This explains why the protocol and profile matter: the adapter and phone must negotiate a compatible USB PD PPS configuration. It is not an instruction to seek a charger that exceeds Google’s published requirements.
- Use an adapter and cable in good condition and follow their regional electrical instructions.
- Keep ventilation around the power adapter; do not cover it while operating.
- Do not treat a higher wattage label as permission to bypass PPS or other compatibility requirements.
- For a multi-port model, follow the manufacturer’s allocation table rather than assuming every port can deliver its maximum simultaneously.
What Google does and does not establish
Google establishes the compatibility class: its 30 W, 45 W and 67 W USB-C Fast Chargers, or a third-party PPS adapter rated at least 30 W, are the relevant wired choices for the documented fast-charge rate. Google also states that 15 W-or-higher USB Power Delivery adapters can charge the phone, and that USB-A-to-USB-C is slower.
Those specifications do not identify a universally best third-party make or model. They also do not provide retail prices, country-by-country stock, exact PPS profiles for unnamed adapters, multi-port behavior for specific products, or an independent comparison of charging times. Any named third-party product should therefore be checked against its current technical sheet before purchase.
Bottom line for buying a Pixel 11 charger
Buy a USB-C PPS charger rated at 30 W or more if you want the charging setup behind Google’s “up to 55% in about 30 minutes” specification. Choose 45 W or 67 W when you need to share one brick with other devices, but inspect the multi-port power-allocation rules. Use the included 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable unless you need a spare or longer reach. For a wireless setup, select a Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap charger and remember that Google lists the Pixel 11’s wireless ceiling as up to 25 W.
