For raid damage, Mega Raichu Y is the top overall pick in Dittobase’s level 40 eDPS baseline. Other rankings put Shadow Thundurus (Therian Forme), Regieleki, Shadow Zekrom, or Mega Raichu X near the top, depending on the simulator, metric, and battle settings. There is no single ranking that applies to every roster and raid configuration.
Which Electric attacker should you build first?
If you want one general-purpose raid choice and can use its listed moves, Mega Raichu Y is the clearest starting point in Dittobase’s baseline ranking. Its position is not a universal verdict: GoSilph’s displayed DPS leader is Shadow Thundurus (Therian Forme), and Dittobase’s default Shadow quick pick is Shadow Zekrom.

Electric attackers are most relevant against raid bosses vulnerable to Electric damage, notably Flying- and Water-type opponents. Choose a team for the boss and raid conditions rather than assuming a type-ranking leader is the best answer to every raid.

What the current raid rankings show
The figures below come from separate ranking tools with different metrics and configurations. They are useful within each source, but they should not be combined into one cross-site leaderboard.

Dittobase: level 40 eDPS baseline
Dittobase’s figures, accessed October 7, 2026, assume level 40, 15/15/15 IVs, no weather boost, no friendship bonus, and no Party Power. The eDPS quick picks are:
- Mega Raichu Y: Thunder Shock + Zap Cannon+, 28.94 eDPS and 464.6 TDO.
- Shadow Zekrom: Charge Beam + Fusion Bolt, 26.34 eDPS and 587.6 TDO.
- Electivire: Thunder Shock + Wild Charge, 20.08 eDPS and 373.3 TDO.
These are simulator outputs, not measurements of raid teams in live play. Dittobase describes eDPS as balancing sustained damage against relobby time; its explanation of the metric is at Dittobase’s attacker-ranking methodology.

Pokebattler: boss-counter results, not one universal score
Pokebattler’s Electric-move counter ranking includes Mega Raichu Y and X, Shadow Raikou, Regieleki, Zeraora, Xurkitree, Thundurus (Therian Forme), Shadow Electivire, and Zekrom among its strongest options. It aggregates counter results by estimator and raid tier instead of presenting one universal attacker score. Check the specific boss and settings in Pokebattler’s raid counter tool.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsWhy rankings disagree
“Best” depends on what a ranking rewards. Raw DPS emphasizes damage output; TDO reflects total damage dealt before an attacker faints; eDPS incorporates sustained output and the cost of relobbying. A high-DPS Pokémon may not be the fastest practical choice for a player if it faints often and forces additional relobbies.

The sources also differ in their included Mega and Shadow forms, move assumptions, levels, and battle settings. Dittobase’s explanation of TDO and faint counts is available in its attacker-ranking methodology; the ranking tools’ configuration options can change results.
How to choose for your roster and raid
- Start with the raid boss. Use Electric damage when the boss’s typing makes it an appropriate counter; a type ranking alone does not establish the best team for a particular boss.
- Pick the metric that matches your goal. For peak damage output, compare DPS. If you want to account for survival and relobbying, inspect TDO, faint counts, or eDPS where available. For a specific boss, use boss-counter results rather than a type-wide score.
- Match the ranking’s setup to your own. Check the assumed level, IVs, weather, friendship, Party Power, Mega level, and other available configuration options. Re-rank under conditions close to your raid party rather than treating a configured score as universal.
- Confirm you can use the listed moves. The rankings are moveset-specific, and some listed moves require special access. A theoretical leader is not a practical choice if you cannot obtain its assumed moveset.
- Account for forms and availability. Consider whether the ranking includes Mega or Shadow forms and whether those are options for your team. A more durable or accessible attacker may fit your roster better than a nominally higher scorer.
What Shadow rankings mean
Dittobase reports that Shadow Pokémon receive 20% more attack and take 20% more incoming damage. That offense-for-durability trade helps explain why a Shadow can rank highly for damage while fainting sooner. Compare survival and relobby costs as well as attack output when deciding whether to build one.
Scope and update timing
These rankings concern raid attackers and do not establish rankings for Great League, Ultra League, Master League, or Max Battles. Rankings and move availability can change with game updates and new releases; the cited snapshots are dated August 30 to October 7, 2026, depending on the source.
