The next date on which those guides agree is July 9, 2027, for Man of Tomorrow. Their dates for The Batman Part II also conflict. As of October 7, 2026, Supergirl has already opened and Lanterns is streaming, so neither belongs on the upcoming list.
Upcoming DC movies and shows with dates listed
These dates come from current entertainment guides, not a complete official DC release calendar. In particular, the guides disagree on Clayface and The Batman Part II; treat those dates as unconfirmed until DC or a distributor confirms them. The table reflects information available as of October 7, 2026.

Which release dates are uncertain?
Clayface
The guides reviewed give two different dates: September 11, 2026, from Popverse and October 23, 2026, from Tom’s Guide. Since the official DC movies catalog reviewed for this slate showed promotional material but no release date, neither guide’s date should be treated as settled. That disagreement also means readers should check an official studio or distributor announcement before making plans.
The Batman Part II
Popverse lists October 1, 2027; Tom’s Guide lists February 18, 2028. The title is an Elseworlds project, separate from the shared DCU, even though it appears in broader lists of upcoming DC films.

Announced DC projects without firm release dates
DC Studios announced a Chapter One: Gods and Monsters slate in January 2023 with five films and five television series. That announcement is useful for identifying projects, but it is not a current release calendar. A current guide also lists the following projects without firm dates:
- The Authority: originally announced as a film; GamesRadar describes it as on the backburner, so it should not be read as a scheduled release.
- The Brave and the Bold: an originally announced film.
- Swamp Thing: an originally announced film.
- Waller: an originally announced series.
- Booster Gold: an originally announced series.
- Paradise Lost: an originally announced series.
- Teen Titans: listed by a current guide without a firm date.
- A Blue Beetle animated spin-off: listed without a firm date.
- A new Wonder Woman film: listed without a firm date.
The 2023 announcement also named Superman: Legacy, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Creature Commandos and Lanterns. Those original project names and plans should not be mistaken for confirmation that each is still an upcoming release under that name: Supergirl has since opened, and Lanterns is already streaming as of October 7, 2026.

Supergirl
DC’s official film page gave June 26, 2026, for North American theaters and IMAX, with international rollout beginning June 24. Both dates had passed by October 7, 2026.

Tom’s Guide’s current list says the series’ first episode is streaming now. It therefore should not be described as an upcoming show as of October 7, 2026.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to read the DCU slate
DCU means the shared continuity; Elseworlds stories are separate. The clearest confirmed distinction in this list is The Batman Part II, which is Elseworlds. A title appearing in a roundup of DC projects does not by itself establish that it is part of the shared continuity. Similarly, an announced project without a date is not a scheduled release, and a date repeated by entertainment guides is not the same as a current official confirmation.
