AMD grew revenue faster in the latest reported quarter: its Q2 2026 revenue rose 50% year over year, compared with monday.com’s 22%. AMD also reported far more revenue—$11.536 billion versus $364.6 million—so the growth rates describe businesses of very different scale and type, not equivalent markets or prospects.

How did AMD and monday.com revenue compare in Q2 2026?

Both companies reported results for the April–June 2026 period. AMD’s fiscal quarter ended June 27; monday.com’s ended June 30. The figures below are reported year-over-year revenue growth, not constant-currency growth.

Company Quarter ended Q2 2026 revenue Year-over-year growth
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) June 27, 2026 $11.536 billion 50%
monday.com June 30, 2026 $364.6 million 22%

AMD’s quarterly revenue was about 31.6 times monday.com’s, based on the companies’ reported figures. That is a measure of revenue scale only; it does not indicate relative quality, investment value, or future opportunity. AMD’s Q2 2026 release and monday.com’s Q2 2026 release provide the reported results.

What drove AMD’s faster growth?

Data Center was the main driver of AMD’s quarterly growth. Its revenue more than doubled year over year, while the other reported segments grew more modestly.

AMD segment, Q2 2026 Revenue Year-over-year change
Data Center $6.718 billion +107%
Client and Gaming $3.841 billion +6%
Embedded $977 million +19%

AMD attributed annual Data Center demand to EPYC processors and Instinct accelerators, and Client and Gaming demand to Ryzen processors, semi-custom console system-on-chips, and Radeon GPUs. In fiscal 2025, AMD revenue increased 34% to $34.6 billion from $25.8 billion in fiscal 2024. For fiscal 2025, Data Center revenue rose 32% to $16.6 billion, Client and Gaming rose 51% to $14.6 billion, and Embedded declined 3% to $3.5 billion. AMD began reporting Client and Gaming as a combined segment in fiscal Q1 2025 and retrospectively adjusted prior segment data. See the AMD FY2025 annual report.

What explains monday.com’s 22% growth rate?

monday.com reported Q2 2026 revenue of $364.6 million, up 22% year over year. The company said favorable foreign exchange contributed approximately 110 basis points to reported growth. The reported 22% rate therefore should not be described as constant-currency growth.

The company also said AI product annual recurring revenue (ARR) doubled from Q1 and represented 17% of net new ARR. This is an ARR mix statement, not a revenue growth rate, so it should not be read as evidence that total revenue grew at that pace.

What changes when comparing profitability?

Revenue growth is the cleanest headline comparison here, but it does not establish which company was more profitable. monday.com reported Q2 2026 non-GAAP operating income of $61.1 million, compared with $45.1 million a year earlier, while its GAAP result was an operating loss of $1.5 million, compared with an $11.6 million loss. Those are different accounting bases and should not be conflated.

  • For the state-of-the-art Socket AM5 platform, can support PCIe 5.0 on select motherboards
  • Cooler not included

AMD’s Q2 2025 comparison also needs care: that quarter included $800 million in inventory and related charges connected to U.S. export controls on AMD Instinct MI308 data-center GPU products. The charge did not adjust revenue, but it affects comparisons of profitability. AMD reported Q2 2026 GAAP gross margin of 54%, versus 40% in Q2 2025, and non-GAAP gross margin of 56%, versus 43%; the company attributed much of the GAAP year-over-year margin change to the prior-year charge and also cited favorable product mix. For profitability comparisons, select the same accounting basis and consult each company’s reconciliations. AMD’s Q2 2026 Form 10-Q and earnings release explain its reporting.

How much historical context should readers infer?

AMD’s revenue has historically generally been higher in the second half of its fiscal year, according to its Q2 2026 Form 10-Q. The filing also cautions that market conditions and product transitions can affect that pattern. Seasonality is context, not a forecast.

The annual figures provide another frame: AMD’s revenue grew 14% in fiscal 2024, from $22.7 billion to $25.8 billion, then 34% in fiscal 2025, to $34.6 billion. Those annual rates and the Q2 2026 quarterly rate use different periods and should not be treated as interchangeable trend measures.

What is the useful takeaway?

AMD reported the faster year-over-year revenue growth in Q2 2026, led by Data Center, and its revenue scale was much larger. monday.com’s reported growth was 22%, including an approximately 110-basis-point favorable FX contribution. These companies sell different products and serve different markets, so their quarterly rates are a snapshot of recent reported growth—not a like-for-like judgment about risk or long-term prospects.
