Which Auto Dialer Fits Your Insurance Team in 2026? 8 Options to Compare

For an insurance agency, the right auto dialer depends less on an “AI” label than on call volume, agent workflow, CRM and policy-system connections, and controls you can configure and audit. The eight services below are a starting shortlist—not an independently tested ranking. Verify current features, pricing, and campaign compliance before buying.

What an auto dialer does—and what “AI-powered” may mean

An auto dialer automates some or all of the process of placing outbound calls. The term covers different workflows: some systems pace calls for available agents, some show agents a contact record before a call, and others play a recorded message. Those are not interchangeable. Conversation features such as transcription, coaching, or summaries are also distinct from automated dialing; confirm which are included in the plan you would purchase.

For insurance agents, useful evaluation criteria include dialing mode, CRM or policy-system integration, call logging, compliance controls, call intelligence, price and seat minimums, and the complexity of fitting the tool into an agency’s workflow. A dialer’s feature list does not establish that a particular campaign is lawful.

Eight auto dialers to compare

This is a workflow-based shortlist, not a scorecard. The available comparisons do not establish an independently verified top eight or supply equivalent feature details for every product. Treat any product positioning below as a lead for your own evaluation, not as a guarantee.

Service What the cited comparisons establish Price reported in the September 2026 comparison What to verify
PhoneBurner The August 2026 comparison places it among small-agency choices and describes a power-dialing workflow, voicemail drop, and logging. $140 per user per month in the September 17, 2026 CloudTalk comparison. The August comparison separately reports annual-billing plans of $140, $165, and $183; the figures are not reconciled. Confirm the applicable plan, billing terms, DNC handling, consent logging, recording, time-zone controls, and whether minutes are unlimited under your plan.
JustCall Named among services to consider for midsize outbound agencies; the comparison does not establish a specific dialing mode or feature set here. Not stated in the September 2026 comparison figures summarized here. Check CRM and policy-system connections, lead distribution, caller-ID management, campaign pacing, and controls for agents who also handle service work.
CloudTalk Named among services to consider for midsize outbound agencies; the comparison does not establish a specific dialing mode or feature set here. Not stated in the September 2026 comparison figures summarized here. Confirm integrations, dialing modes, compliance settings, price, minimum seats, and contract terms for the exact plan.
Readymode Named among services to consider for midsize outbound agencies; the comparison does not establish a specific dialing mode or feature set here. Not stated in the September 2026 comparison figures summarized here. Check campaign pacing, caller-ID management, lead distribution, integrations, and how agents move between outbound and service calls.
Kixie Named among services to consider for midsize outbound agencies; the comparison does not establish a specific dialing mode or feature set here. Not stated in the September 2026 comparison figures summarized here. Verify the actual integration and call-logging workflow, available dialing modes, compliance controls, and plan-level costs.
Five9 The official documentation describes predictive, progressive, power, preview, and manual-touch dialing. The September comparison positions it for larger operations. From $119 per user per month, with a 50-seat minimum, in the September comparison. It also reports Digital at $119 and Core at $159, a 36-month Digital term, and possible added costs for advanced features. Confirm current quote, seat minimum, term, included features, add-ons, and how each dialing mode and compliance control is configured.
RingCentral Documentation describes predictive, progressive, preview, and voice-broadcast modes. The September comparison positions it for larger operations and reports AI coaching, recording, transcription, and summaries. RingEX from $20 and RingCX from $65 in the September comparison; these are different offerings, not interchangeable dialer-plan prices. Ask which product and plan provides the dialing workflow and AI features you need, and confirm price, integrations, controls, and minimums.
Dialpad The September comparison lists it for real-time transcription and coaching; the August comparison reports Connect Standard and Pro annual-billing prices. Approximately $15–$25 per user per month in the September comparison. The August comparison reports Connect Standard at $15 and Pro at $25 with annual billing; confirm the product and plan before comparing. Check whether the required dialing features, integrations, transcription, and coaching are included in the specific plan and region.

All prices above are publisher-reported figures, not current quotes confirmed directly for this article. They may vary by plan, billing, geography, date, minimum seats, contract term, and add-ons. In particular, do not treat PhoneBurner’s two sets of reported prices as a single reconciled rate.

Choose a dialing mode that matches your agents and campaigns

Predictive dialing

A predictive dialer estimates when agents will be available and can place calls before a representative is free, routing answered calls to an agent. It is designed for higher-volume teams, but pacing and abandoned-call controls matter. Five9 says its predictive mode is best when more than 10 active agents are available; that is Five9’s guidance, not a universal threshold.

Progressive dialing

Progressive dialing starts another call as an agent finishes the previous one, with pacing that may adapt to availability. Five9 describes it as suitable for fewer than 10 active agents. Use that as vendor guidance rather than a general rule: campaign volume, staffing, and operational needs still determine fit.

Power dialing

Power dialing places a configured number of calls for each available agent. Five9 says its power mode can adjust based on abandon rates. Ask how the dialer sets its pace and what controls managers have over campaign behavior.

Preview and manual-touch dialing

Preview mode shows an agent a contact record and history before the agent initiates a call, which can support preparation for higher-value conversations. Five9 also describes manual-touch mode, which disables automated dialing and lets agents choose whether to dial or skip a contact.

Voice broadcast

RingCentral describes voice broadcast as dialing multiple numbers and playing a recorded message after connection, with possible routes to an IVR, virtual agent, or live representative. This is a different workflow from a sales dialer in which agents handle calls individually.

Shortlist by agency size and workflow

Solo producers and small teams

PhoneBurner is one candidate to examine because the August 2026 comparison places it among small-agency choices and describes power dialing, voicemail drop, and logging. Before selecting it, verify the controls your campaign needs; the comparison says some details, including DNC scrubbing, consent logging, recording, and time-zone features, are not clearly stated in public materials.

Midsize outbound agencies

Compare JustCall, CloudTalk, Readymode, and Kixie against the same practical checklist: CRM and policy-system integration, lead distribution, caller-ID management, campaign pacing, and whether agents can switch cleanly between sales and service work. The available comparison identifies them as options in this segment but does not establish a like-for-like feature ranking.

Enterprise contact centers

Five9 and RingCentral are positioned for larger operations in the September comparison. Five9’s documented modes and RingCentral’s documented dialing and conversation-intelligence features offer specific areas to investigate, but neither positioning nor a feature description confirms fit. Confirm seat minimums, contract terms, integrations, and exact control settings with the provider.

The September comparison lists Dialpad for real-time transcription and coaching; RingCentral describes coaching, recording, transcription, and summaries. Ask for a plan-specific feature list and confirm whether the capabilities are included, optional, or limited by region or configuration.

How to evaluate a dialer before signing

  1. Map the operation. Record the number of agents, peak simultaneous availability, campaign volume, lead sources, and how often agents also handle service calls.
  2. Pick the workflow before the brand. Decide whether agents need predictive, progressive, power, preview, manual-touch, or voice-broadcast calling. Test how the pacing behaves in your expected staffing conditions.
  3. Trace the data. Confirm how contacts, policy or CRM records, call outcomes, recordings, and follow-up tasks move through the systems you already use. Verify that the integration covers the fields and actions your team needs.
  4. Inspect control and audit features. Ask to see how the platform handles suppression lists, consent records, calling-hour settings, caller identification, recording, and retention. Confirm what administrators can review and export.
  5. Request a complete commercial quote. Compare the same number of seats, billing cadence, contract length, required add-ons, implementation costs, and renewal terms. Do not compare a starting price for one product with a different product or plan’s price.
  6. Run a representative workflow test. Have agents complete the calls, record outcomes, and handle exceptions they actually encounter. Check whether records remain accurate and whether managers can inspect the settings and call results.

Compliance is a campaign-level decision

The comparisons identify TCPA and DNC controls, recording, consent logging, and time-zone restrictions as relevant evaluation areas. A vendor’s listing, feature description, or certification does not determine whether your campaign is lawful. Requirements depend on the campaign, lead source, dialing mode, contact, and applicable jurisdiction; the cited comparisons do not establish jurisdiction-specific legal requirements.

Before launch, map your campaign type, dialing mode, lead source, consent records, suppression process, calling hours, recording and retention practices, caller identification, and agent workflow to the rules that apply. Obtain qualified compliance review where needed. Five9 describes its Certified Caller (STIR/SHAKEN) capability as validating call handoffs between networks so carriers can verify that a call is from the indicated caller ID. That description is not a guarantee of answer rates or overall legal compliance.

How to interpret “rated and reviewed” claims

The September 17, 2026 CloudTalk comparison says it tested more than 30 platforms and considered dialing modes, CRM and policy-system integrations, compliance controls, pricing, features, reviews, and scalability. That is the publisher’s account of its own methodology; it is not an independent test or hands-on result for this article. The August 20, 2026 MightyCall comparison names a partly different set of products. Neither establishes an independently validated ranking of exactly eight dialers for every insurance agency.

Use published ratings as one input, then compare products against your agent count, campaign workflow, integrations, audited controls, and a current written quote. A high rating cannot substitute for verifying whether the actual plan and configuration fit your operation.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
