A suitable set accepts 12V DC input. Jensen describes its RV televisions as lightweight and more durable than average consumer TVs to withstand vibration and travel. Measure the installation space first
Measure the cabinet or wall area, including clearance around the screen and any space needed for cables, ventilation, or a swivel mount. Then consider viewing distance: a larger screen may be easier to see from farther away, but it must fit the RV and the mount must support the set. The candidates in the 2026 comparison range from 19- and 22-inch examples to 40 inches.

Match the VESA pattern to the mount
Check the exact TV model’s VESA pattern—the spacing between its mounting holes—against the mount specification. Jensen lists 75 × 75 mm for the JTV1917DVDC, 100 × 100 mm for the JTV2815DC and JTV3217DC, and 200 × 100 mm for the JTV4015DC. Do not assume that a mount fits because it is described as an RV or TV mount; also confirm that the RV wall or cabinet can safely support the installation.
Balance screen size and resolution
Compare resolution as well as diagonal size. Jensen’s listings include 1920 × 1080 on the 24-inch JTV24DC and 1920 × 1080p on the 40-inch JTV4015DC, while several smaller models list 1366 × 768. The JTV2815DC is listed at 1266 × 768. Those are the manufacturer’s pixel dimensions; do not infer the same image detail from screen size alone.

- Inputs: Port selection varies by model. The JTV3217DC listing specifies two HDMI inputs, USB, RF, component/composite, and audio connections; the JTV4015DC listing specifies two HDMI inputs and other video/audio connections. Check the page for the exact model before planning to connect a streaming device, game console, or other source.
- DVD playback: The Jensen JTV1917DVDC has a built-in DVD player. A built-in player can avoid a separate device, but do not assume other Jensen models—or the other candidates in the comparison—include one.
