Streaming rights vary by title and country, so search for the specific movie in your local catalog before subscribing. If it is missing, check a current availability guide for streaming, rental, purchase, or disc options.
Where can I watch MCU movies?
Disney+ is the most useful first catalog to check in the U.S. Hulu’s Marvel watch-order guide links to Disney+ listings for the films, and JustWatch’s U.S. guide, updated October 2, 2026, reported 36 of its 40 listed Marvel movie titles on Disney Plus. That count covers JustWatch’s broader Marvel list, not a confirmed count of MCU-only movies. See the JustWatch U.S. Marvel movies guide for its current listings.

For a particular film, search the title in the service you use or check a current title-level guide. As two examples of how options differ, JustWatch’s U.S. listing checked October 3, 2026 showed Spider-Man: No Way Home on Disney Plus, fuboTV, YouTube TV, FXNow, and the Starz Apple TV channel, as well as digital rental and purchase and DVD/Blu-ray options. Its U.S. listing for The Marvels, checked September 26, 2026, showed Disney Plus, digital rental and purchase, and DVD purchase. These dated listings are examples, not a guarantee for other films.
Availability outside the U.S. may differ. Don’t assume that a service or title listed for the U.S. is available in your country; check the local catalog and the individual movie. Subscription streaming, digital rental or purchase, and physical discs are separate ways to watch, and listings and terms can change.

What order should I watch the MCU movies in?
Choose based on whether this is your first time through the films or a chronological rewatch. Release order preserves the sequence in which audiences originally encountered the stories, reveals, and callbacks. Disney+ timeline order arranges them by in-universe chronology. Neither is universally right.
| Viewing route | Best for | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Release order | A first viewing, especially if you want the original sequence of reveals and references. | It follows the movies’ release sequence rather than the characters’ in-universe chronology. |
| Disney+ timeline order | A rewatch focused on chronological continuity. | Chronological placement can change when you encounter reveals that were originally presented in a different order. |
Hulu’s guide describes both a release-date route and a canon-timeline route. Marvel’s official article also points readers to the Disney+ timeline, writing: “Discover the Marvel Studios in Timeline Order on Disney+!” The official MCU timeline book announcement describes Marvel Studios: The Marvel Cinematic Universe An Official Timeline, made in collaboration with Marvel Studios and available wherever books are sold. It can be a visual reference, but it is not required to follow either viewing route; check a bookseller for current stock.

What if a movie is not on my streaming service?
- Check a current title listing. Search the exact movie in a title-level availability guide, then confirm the result with the service or retailer before paying.
- Compare other streaming services. A film may be available on another service even if it is absent from your usual subscription. The services listed for No Way Home are one dated U.S. example, not a pattern to assume for the rest of the MCU.
- Look for digital rental or purchase. These are paid options separate from subscription streaming; verify the current terms for the title and region.
- Consider a disc for the specific movie. DVD/Blu-ray options were listed for No Way Home, and DVD purchase for The Marvels. Check the exact film and format; these examples do not establish that a complete MCU disc collection is available.
How to check the right catalog
- Identify the exact MCU movie you want to watch. “Marvel movies” availability guides may include Marvel adaptations outside the MCU.
- Check your country’s Disney+ catalog first, then search a current, region-specific title listing if the film is not there.
- Confirm whether the result is subscription streaming, a digital rental, a digital purchase, or a physical disc; these are different options.
- Verify availability and terms on the service or retailer’s own page before subscribing or buying, because catalog listings change.
