The Naruto official site directs viewers to a regional streaming directory, while individual services show different catalogs, episode ranges, dubs and subtitles. At the time checked (13 October 2026 UTC), Hulu’s catalog search showed both series, Netflix Canada listed both series, and Crunchyroll had an official Naruto Shippuden listing. Those are starting points—not proof that every episode, language track or territory is covered. Check your local catalog and the exact season or episode list before subscribing.
Quick answer: the safest way to find Naruto in your country
Begin with the Naruto franchise site’s streaming directory. It groups services by region and warns: “Available streaming services vary depending on your region of residence. Please be sure to check which options are supported where you live.” Use that first-party regional list to identify likely services, then open each service while signed in from your own country.

Search for the two television series separately. Naruto is the original series; Naruto Shippuden is its sequel. A service can carry one without the other, or show a franchise page that also contains films, specials or Boruto without offering the complete run you want.
Availability and rights can change quickly. The examples below reflect catalog pages checked on 13 October 2026 UTC, not a permanent worldwide guarantee.

Streaming options confirmed by official catalog pages
| Service and territory | What the official listing establishes | What you still need to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Hulu (market not identified in the captured listing) | Hulu’s official catalog search result displayed both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. | The listing does not establish a country outside Hulu’s supported market, complete episode coverage, language versions or a current plan price. Open the title pages in your own Hulu account and inspect the episode list. |
| Netflix Canada | Netflix Canada’s official Naruto page listed Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and several franchise films. | This is evidence for Canada only. Do not infer that another Netflix country has the same titles, seasons, audio or subtitles. Check the Canadian season and episode selectors if you are watching there. |
| Crunchyroll (regional catalog) | An official Naruto Shippuden listing surfaced Japanese audio and subtitles in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian and Arabic. | The captured page does not prove that every region has the same rights or that an English dub is available. Check the audio menu, subtitle menu and episode list from your location. |
A title appearing in search is not the same as a complete-series entitlement. Services sometimes split a long anime into seasons, parts or separate listings, and rights can differ even between neighboring countries.
How to check whether you will get the episodes you want
- Set your real country and profile. Turn off any location-masking setup and use the account or app you will actually watch with. Catalogs are licensed by territory.
- Open the series page, not only a search result. Confirm the title says Naruto or Naruto Shippuden, rather than a film, recap, special or Boruto.
- Expand every season or part selector. Record the first and last episode numbers shown. If the service lists only a few seasons, do not assume later seasons are hidden elsewhere on the same platform.
- Test an episode before paying. Start playback, open the audio and subtitle controls, and confirm the language combination you need. Availability can differ by episode.
- Check the plan requirement. A service may show a title to visitors while requiring a paid tier, an add-on or a supported country for playback. Confirm the current offer in your billing region before subscribing.
- Save an alternative. If a season is missing, identify another legal service or a physical release before beginning a long binge.
Naruto versus Naruto Shippuden: avoid choosing the wrong listing
Naruto (the original series)
Look for the listing titled simply Naruto. Do not substitute a film with “Naruto” in its name or assume that a service’s franchise hub includes every television episode. Verify that the episode numbering starts with the original series and that the available seasons match the portion you intend to watch.
Naruto Shippuden
Naruto Shippuden is a separate television listing and may have different licensing from the original. Crunchyroll’s surfaced page, for example, specifically identified Naruto Shippuden and displayed Japanese audio with multiple subtitle languages. That does not establish that the same service carries the original Naruto in your territory.

Films and Boruto are separate choices
Netflix Canada’s page grouped the two series with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and several films. Those related titles can be useful after the main series, but their presence cannot be used to prove that either television run is complete.
Language options: Japanese audio, English dub and subtitles
Language support is a title-and-territory question, not a franchise-wide guarantee. A page may show Japanese audio while the English dub is licensed separately, or subtitles may be available in fewer languages than the interface suggests.
- Japanese audio: Crunchyroll’s official Naruto Shippuden listing displayed Japanese audio.
- Subtitles: The same listing surfaced English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian and Arabic subtitle options. Treat those as the languages shown for that listing, not a promise for every country or every episode.
- English dub: The captured Crunchyroll result did not verify a universal English dub. Use the in-player audio menu in your country before committing to a subscription.
- Audio consistency: Check several episodes, especially if a service divides the show into seasons or arcs. Rights can vary within a catalog.
If you need a specific dub, subtitle style or Japanese-original track, make that requirement part of your search before comparing prices. A cheaper subscription that lacks your preferred track is not an equivalent option.
Is Naruto Shippuden on Netflix?
Netflix Canada’s official page listed both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden when checked on 13 October 2026 UTC. It also showed Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and multiple Naruto films. This answers the question for the Canadian catalog at that time; it does not establish availability on Netflix in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia or any other territory.

Prefer to own the episodes? Physical Blu-ray options
VIZ’s official catalog lists Naruto Shippuden Blu-ray releases, including Part 11, along with other Naruto releases. Physical media can be useful when streaming rights are uncertain or when you want a stable collection, but a listing for one part is not evidence that it contains the entire series.

What to verify before buying
- Exact set contents: Confirm the part number, included episodes and whether the package is a complete arc or only a section of the run.
- Audio and subtitles: Read the edition’s specifications rather than assuming every release has the same tracks.
- Disc region: Check that the Blu-ray region matches your player, or that your equipment explicitly supports the release’s region.
- Edition and condition: Distinguish a new publisher release from used, imported or repackaged stock; contents and compatibility should be stated by the seller.
VIZ’s catalog establishes that official Blu-ray products exist, not that Part 11—or any single set—is the whole Shippuden run. Build a set-by-set list if your goal is a complete physical collection.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Choosing the best viewing route
Choose streaming first when convenience matters
Streaming is the simplest route if your local service has both series, the episodes are complete and your preferred audio or subtitles are present. Use the regional directory, then verify the title and episode selectors in the app. Because plan prices and rights are volatile, use the price displayed for your country on the day you subscribe rather than an old article’s figure.
Use two services when one catalog is incomplete
A split catalog is common with long-running shows. You might find the original series on one service and Shippuden on another, or discover that a dub is available only on a different platform. Compare the total months or purchases required, not just the first service you find. Do not pay until you know where the missing episodes continue.
Best Value
Choose Blu-ray for ownership or unreliable rights
Physical discs avoid a sudden catalog removal and do not depend on an active streaming account. They require upfront purchases, storage and a compatible player, and you must assemble the correct parts. Confirm contents and region for each release.
Common problems and fixes
The title appears, but playback is blocked
This usually indicates a territory or account-rights mismatch. Check that your account country and current location match, then use the service’s local app rather than a cached search result. If the official Naruto regional directory does not list the service for your residence, look for a locally supported alternative.
Only films or Boruto appear
Open the franchise page’s separate television entries and search the exact title. A film listing, a Boruto result or a Naruto-themed collection does not confirm access to the original or Shippuden episodes.

Later episodes are missing
Write down the last episode number available and search the same service for another season or part. If none exists, check the regional directory for another licensed service or consider the corresponding Blu-ray parts. Do not assume that an incomplete listing will be expanded on a known date.
The dub or subtitles are unavailable
Start playback and inspect the audio and subtitle menus. If your language is absent, verify another service or a physical edition’s specifications. The Crunchyroll language list cited above is not a universal guarantee, and the captured evidence does not establish a universal English dub.
A disc will not play
Check the Blu-ray region printed on the package and your player’s supported regions. Then confirm that you bought the intended part and edition; a compatible region cannot correct a mistaken set or incomplete contents.
Quick Recap
What can—and cannot—be concluded from current listings
- Hulu’s official catalog search showed both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, but the captured evidence does not establish worldwide availability, full episode coverage or all language tracks.
- Netflix Canada listed both series and related franchise titles; that evidence is Canada-specific.
- Crunchyroll’s official Shippuden page showed Japanese audio and several subtitle languages, while regional rights and English-dub coverage still require local checking.
- VIZ lists official Shippuden Blu-ray releases, including Part 11; individual sets must be checked for exact episodes and disc-region compatibility.
- No current, universal subscription price or complete country-by-country matrix is established here. Prices, catalogs and language options should be checked immediately before payment.
