| Service or route | What the evidence shows | Best fit | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hulu | The US series listing reports 8 seasons and 341 episodes. | Viewers who want the broadest clearly stated season run in one subscription. | The episode count is a changing catalog figure; verify the season selector in the app. |
| Crunchyroll | The US series page lists Japanese and English audio, along with additional language options. | Viewers choosing between original Japanese audio and an English dub. | Track availability can vary by episode and territory. |
| Netflix | Listed as a US streaming option, including a Standard with Ads listing in the index. | People who already subscribe and find the desired season in their catalog. | The available evidence does not establish a complete US season list. |
| Rakuten Viki | Listed in the US index with both a subscription route and a free-with-ads option. | Viewers prioritizing an ad-supported way to watch. | Free viewing and episode availability can depend on account region and licensing. |
| Amazon Video and Apple TV Store | The index lists digital purchase options. | People who prefer transactional ownership rather than another monthly subscription. | Check the exact season, edition, language tracks and purchase rights. |
| DVD and Blu-ray retail | The index lists physical DVD/Blu-ray purchase listings. | Collectors and viewers who need offline playback. | Stock, region coding, season coverage and included audio are not established by the index. |
If your priority is the largest clearly documented US run, start by comparing Hulu and Crunchyroll. If language choice matters most, inspect Crunchyroll’s audio menu. If avoiding a new subscription matters most, check Rakuten Viki’s ad-supported listing or a digital purchase.
What counts as the complete series?
The official Japanese series page labels the program “SEASON1-8 (FINAL SEASON).” Hulu’s US listing separately reports eight seasons and 341 episodes. Together, those details explain why “all seasons” should be checked as a season-by-season question rather than inferred from a service logo.
#1 Best Overall
Catalog totals can change when episodes move between licensing agreements, when a platform groups specials differently, or when a season selector is updated. The 341-episode figure is Hulu’s current listing claim, not a permanent production statistic. A platform can show the series while carrying only part of the run, so open each season in the selector and confirm that the episode list reaches the point you intend to watch.
Choose a service by your viewing priority
If you want the broadest US season run
Hulu is the first service to check because its current listing explicitly states eight seasons and 341 episodes. That is the strongest single catalog indication in the available US evidence. Do not treat the number as a guarantee for every account: launch Hulu, open the series page and expand all season menus before starting a subscription.
Crunchyroll is the other primary service to compare for a direct series stream. Its page confirms the title and language options, but the supplied evidence does not provide a complete season-by-season US matrix. Compare the actual episode lists on both services if you are starting from season one or trying to finish the final season.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →If Japanese audio or an English dub is decisive
Crunchyroll’s US series page lists both Japanese and English audio and shows additional language options. That makes it the clearest starting point for viewers who want to switch between the original performance and a dub. Language menus can differ by episode, season and territory, so select a representative episode from the season you plan to watch and inspect its audio and subtitle controls.
Do not assume that a service carrying the series automatically carries every dub. A title page can advertise multiple languages while a particular episode has fewer tracks, or a track can be restricted in one country.
If you want an ad-supported route
Rakuten Viki is listed in the US index as free with ads as well as offering a subscription option. That can make it useful when the monthly cost of another service is the deciding factor. Free access is not the same as universal access: licensing may vary by account region, and some episodes may require a subscription.
Rank #2
- Music Videos Promo Videos Textless Opening & Ending Songs
The US index also identifies a Netflix Standard with Ads listing, but it does not establish which My Hero Academia seasons are included there. Check Netflix’s title page while signed in rather than choosing it solely because an ad-supported plan exists.
If you would rather buy episodes or discs
The availability index lists digital purchases through Amazon Video and the Apple TV Store, plus DVD and Blu-ray retail listings. Buying can be sensible if you want to avoid rotating subscription licenses or maintain access while traveling, but digital “buy” rights still depend on storefront territory and account terms.
For discs, verify the exact season or box set, region coding, subtitle and dub information, and whether the listing is new or used. The index does not establish current stock, a particular edition, or complete coverage of all eight seasons. Treat a physical set as an optional ownership route after confirming those details.
Service-by-service guidance
Hulu
Hulu’s current US series listing reports eight seasons and 341 episodes, the most concrete completeness signal among the services covered. Use Hulu first when your goal is to watch a long uninterrupted run and you already have access to the service.
- Search for the series in the Hulu app or website.
- Open the title page and expand the season selector.
- Confirm that seasons 1 through 8 appear and that the episode list is populated for the season you need.
- Open an episode and inspect available audio and subtitle tracks before committing to a subscription.
If a season is missing, do not infer that the listing count is wrong; catalogs can differ by location, account state or a recent licensing change. Check again after signing in and compare another service.
Recommended Free Tools
Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll is the clearest option in the evidence for language flexibility. Its US page lists Japanese and English audio, with other language choices also presented. That is particularly useful if you plan to alternate between the original track and a dub.
Rank #3
- Memories (Episodes 1–4)
- Textless Opening and Ending Songs
The available page does not prove identical track availability for every episode or establish that every US season is present. Use the season and episode navigation, then open the audio menu on the actual episode you want. If a language is absent, check another episode in the same season before assuming the entire season lacks it.
Netflix
Netflix appears in the US availability index, including a Standard with Ads entry. The evidence does not provide a dependable US season-by-season count, so Netflix is best treated as a convenience option for existing subscribers rather than a confirmed all-seasons destination.
Search while signed in, open the title details and look for the season selector. If only selected seasons appear, note the stopping point before you begin. Netflix’s catalog can differ between countries even when the title page and artwork look identical.

Rakuten Viki is listed with a free-with-ads option and a subscription route in the US snapshot. It is the most direct match for viewers who specifically want to try an ad-supported stream without immediately adding another paid subscription.
Check whether the episode you want is marked free, whether advertisements apply to the entire season, and whether subtitles are available in your preferred language. A free listing can be limited by territory or licensing window, so confirm access after signing in.
How to verify availability before paying
Use this checklist for any service, especially when you are trying to watch the full run.
Rank #4
- Set the correct country. Availability is determined by licensing territory. Do not use a result from a different country as proof for your account.
- Open the live series page. Search results and third-party indexes can lag behind a catalog change.
- Inspect every season. Use the season selector and scroll through the episode list. Record the first and last episode shown if you are joining an ongoing watch-through.
- Test language controls. Start an episode from the season you need, open audio and subtitle settings, and confirm Japanese, English or another required track.
- Check plan restrictions. A title can be visible on an ad-supported or free tier while particular episodes, downloads or language tracks require a paid plan.
- Confirm films separately. Search each film by title; do not assume a series subscription includes theatrical releases.
- Review purchase details. For a digital or physical purchase, verify season number, edition, region, subtitles, audio and refund terms.
Why availability differs by country
The official Japanese on-air page lists services for Japan, including Hulu Japan, ABEMA Premium, Amazon Prime Video Japan, Disney+ Japan and Netflix Japan, among others. Those listings are useful for Japanese viewers but do not establish US rights. A US catalog index, conversely, cannot be carried over to Japan, Europe or any other territory.

Licenses can also differ by season. One service may carry early seasons while another has the newest episodes, and a film can be licensed separately from the television series. When traveling, verify the catalog in the country where your account is being used and check the service’s current terms rather than relying on what was available at home.
Series episodes and theatrical films are separate checks
The Japanese official page separates film entries from the television program. That distinction matters because a service can stream the series without carrying one or more films, or list a film under a different title and release edition.
For a series-only watch, confirm seasons and episodes in the service selector. For a complete franchise watch, make a separate list of the films you want and search for each one on your chosen service. The US evidence does not establish that all four theatrical films are available on any one US platform, so no service should be advertised as a complete series-and-films package without a current title-by-title check.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Using the October 2026 US availability snapshot correctly
The US index reports that it checked 376 streaming services at 12:26:29 AM on October 9, 2026. That number describes the index’s coverage at that moment; it is not a measure of audience size, popularity or quality. The same page lists Crunchyroll, Crunchyroll Amazon Channel, Netflix, Hulu and Rakuten Viki, along with digital and physical purchase routes.
Because streaming rights change, use that snapshot to narrow your search, not to skip verification. A service can remain listed while a specific season expires, move behind a different plan or become unavailable in a particular state or account region. The live catalog and the episode-level playback screen are the final checks.

Common problems and fixes
The service shows the title, but not the season you need
Open the full season selector rather than relying on the search result. Sign in, disable any child or restricted profile, and check again. If the season is still absent, compare Hulu and Crunchyroll first for the US, then consider a digital purchase.
The English dub is missing
Start the episode and open its audio menu. Check more than one episode because tracks can vary. If the dub is unavailable for your account region, switch to Japanese audio with subtitles or use a service whose page explicitly lists English audio, while still confirming the individual episode.
A free-with-ads episode is locked
Verify that you are in the supported country and signed in to the correct account. Some catalogs mark a series as available while reserving particular episodes for subscribers. If the lock remains, compare the subscription price with a one-time digital purchase.
The episode count differs from another website
Streaming services may group specials, recap material or split episodes differently. Use the platform’s season and episode list for your watch order, and treat the 341-episode Hulu figure as a current catalog listing rather than an immutable count.
A film is not included with the series
Search for the film as its own title. The official Japanese page lists films separately, and the US evidence does not confirm complete film coverage on any one service.
Bottom line
For US viewers, compare Hulu and Crunchyroll first: Hulu has the clearest stated breadth with eight seasons and 341 listed episodes, while Crunchyroll offers the clearest documented Japanese-and-English audio choice. Rakuten Viki is the first place to check for a free-with-ads route, Netflix may be convenient for existing subscribers, and Amazon Video, Apple TV Store or physical discs provide purchase alternatives. Whichever route you choose, verify the live season selector, episode-level language tracks and separate film availability for your country before paying.
