Where can you watch Mike Flanagan’s Carrie?
The series is scheduled to stream exclusively on Prime Video beginning October 7, 2026. Amazon says the release covers more than 240 countries and territories, and Stephen King’s official title page also lists Prime Video and that date. At the October 4, 2026 information date, the premiere was still upcoming.

Which Prime Video plan includes Carrie?
In the U.S., the relevant option is an Amazon Prime membership, which includes Prime Video. Amazon lists it at $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Amazon also lists Prime Video Ultra at $4.99 per month as an ad-free option; the Carrie announcement does not say that Ultra is needed for the series.

Amazon describes the series as a contemporary reinvention of Stephen King’s 1974 debut novel. It centers on Carrie White, a misfit high-school student whose telekinetic powers emerge amid bullying and social-media pressure. Summer H. Howell plays Carrie. Mike Flanagan is the showrunner, writer and executive producer, and directs four episodes; King is also an executive producer. Amazon MGM Studios is the production company.

King’s original novel is a companion for readers who want to explore the story behind the adaptation. Amazon says the novel spent 14 weeks on The New York Times bestseller list and has been translated into more than 35 languages; those figures refer to the book, not the series.
