Watch AHL games online through AHLTV on FloHockey, the platform named in the league’s official FAQ. A particular game may still be unavailable in your location because of geographic rights restrictions, so check that game’s event listing before subscribing or making plans to watch.
Where to stream AHL games
The AHL’s official FAQ directs fans to AHLTV on FloHockey to watch games online. AHLTV moved to the FloHockey platform for the 2024–25 season. In its September 12, 2024 partnership announcement, the league said the service would offer regular-season and Calder Cup Playoff games for all 32 teams.

That describes the service’s overall coverage, not a guarantee that every individual event will stream in every location. FloHockey says contractual rights restrictions can make a stream or replay unavailable in some places. Check the specific game’s page from the location where you intend to watch.
How to check whether a game is available where you are
- Find the matchup. Start with the AHL schedule or find the event in FloHockey’s listings.
- Open the event page from your viewing location. FloHockey says an unavailable stream or replay will be identified on the event page or schedule with an “is not available in your location” notice.
- Check the notice before subscribing or relying on the stream. Availability can depend on the event and location; the sources do not establish a rule that all games involving a nearby team are blocked.
- If the result seems wrong, review your connection settings. FloHockey suggests checking whether a VPN or proxy is enabled when you believe the location result is an error. This is troubleshooting advice, not a way to bypass rights restrictions.

Are AHL games subject to local blackouts?
FloHockey documents event-specific geographic restrictions, but its guidance does not provide a market-by-market blackout map or a general formula saying that every local team’s games are unavailable. The league FAQ’s broad description of AHLTV coverage and FloHockey’s location caveat can both be true: AHLTV is the online destination for AHL games, while an individual event may be restricted in a particular place.
Do not assume that the NHL’s local-blackout policies apply to AHLTV. For the matchup you want, the event listing and its location notice are the practical check.

Other ways to watch, depending on the event
Some games or special events may also have television coverage, but availability varies by event. For example, the AHL’s June 12, 2026 announcement said that the 2026 Calder Cup Finals would stream worldwide on AHLTV on FloHockey. It also listed Sportsnet 360 for Games 1 and 3–7 in Canada, Sportsnet One for Game 2 in Canada, and NHL Network for Games 3–7 in the United States. Those outlets applied to that completed Finals series; they do not establish regular-season TV carriage. Check current AHL and team listings for other broadcasts.

That announcement describes the broader FloHockey channel, not a guarantee that those services carry every AHL game. For a specific matchup, rely on its actual event listing and location notice.

The AHL’s 2024 partnership announcement listed desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile viewing, along with the FloSports app, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Chromecast. FloHockey’s device-support page is the better place to confirm current compatibility, especially for a specific model; the older list is not a guarantee for every later device.
Check FloHockey directly for current subscription price, billing period, included content, and cancellation terms. Prices in the AHL’s 2024 announcement are historical and should not be treated as current. A supported streaming device also does not change whether a particular event is available in your location.
