Where can you stream the MLB playoffs? In the U.S. in 2026, it depends on the round: Wild Card games are on NBC/Peacock, the ALDS and ALCS are on TBS and listed TNT Sports platforms, the NLDS and NLCS are on FOX or FS1, and the World Series is on FOX. Check the official MLB postseason schedule for a specific game, since assignments and times can change.

Where can I stream the MLB playoffs?

Use the game’s listed broadcaster to choose an app or TV package. The current schedule assigns the 2026 postseason as follows:

Round Scheduled broadcaster Streaming route
Wild Card Series NBC Peacock; NBC broadcast where locally available
American League Division Series (ALDS) TBS / TNT Sports platforms A TV or streaming package carrying TBS; current MLB listings also name truTV and HBO Max
National League Division Series (NLDS) FOX / FS1 FOX One, or FOX Sports website/app with eligible TV-provider login
American League Championship Series (ALCS) TBS / TNT Sports platforms TBS or a listed TNT Sports platform, including HBO Max
National League Championship Series (NLCS) FOX / FS1 FOX One, or FOX Sports website/app with eligible TV-provider login
World Series FOX FOX One, or FOX Sports website/app with eligible TV-provider login

These assignments reflect the live MLB schedule checked October 4, 2026. The schedule lists TBS, truTV, UniMás and HBO Max for ALDS and ALCS games, and FOX, FS1, FOX Deportes and FOX One for NLDS and NLCS games; a particular game’s listing is the best guide to its channel. All scheduled World Series games are listed on FOX. Game times and listings may change. MLB postseason schedule

How the apps and TV packages compare

FOX and FOX One

FOX and FS1 carry the National League Division and Championship Series in the 2026 schedule; FOX carries the World Series. FOX One is an app route for the postseason coverage. FOX games can also stream on FOXSports.com and the FOX Sports App with an eligible TV-provider login. Confirm whether the game is on FOX or FS1 and check the access terms for the app or package you plan to use. FOX Sports: how to watch the MLB playoffs

NBC and Peacock

NBC carries the Wild Card Series, with Peacock as the streaming route. NBC may also be available as a local broadcast channel, depending on your location and television setup. MLB.TV does not stream NBC/Peacock Wild Card games live for U.S. subscribers. MLB.TV help center

TBS and TNT Sports platforms

The schedule assigns the ALDS and ALCS to TBS/TNT Sports platforms and lists HBO Max for scheduled games; individual listings also name truTV and UniMás. Choose a pay-TV or streaming package that carries the channel or platform listed for your game, and verify current availability and plan requirements before subscribing. A general claim that a service carries “live TV” is not enough to establish that it includes the game’s specific channel. MLB postseason schedule FOX Sports: how to watch the MLB playoffs

Can I watch every playoff game live with MLB.TV?

No. MLB.TV is not a single-subscription replacement for all U.S. postseason broadcasts. For eligible live FOX/TBS games, U.S. subscribers need authentication through a participating pay-TV provider. NBC/Peacock Wild Card games are not live on MLB.TV in the U.S.; valid subscribers can access audio and full-game archives after the game. MLB.TV’s help information says live international postseason access excludes Canada and that archives are available 90 minutes after a game. These rules describe MLB.TV access, not a substitute for checking the scheduled broadcaster for each matchup. MLB.TV help center

Do local broadcasts or team apps show playoff games?

Do not assume that a team’s regular-season local channel or in-market streaming product carries postseason games. The postseason guide assigns games to national broadcasters by round, while MLB’s local-streaming products describe participating teams’ in-market games and do not establish them as a playoff live-stream route. For a playoff game, follow its national broadcaster in the live schedule. MLB postseason schedule MLB live-streaming information

How to choose a service for a specific game

  1. Find the matchup and date in the live MLB postseason schedule.
  2. Note the listed channel or platform for that game; don’t infer it from the team’s regular-season app or a service’s general sports description.
  3. Check the provider’s current channel lineup or app access in your market, and verify the exact app works on your device.
  4. Before paying, review the current full price, any trial-to-paid renewal, cancellation terms, local channel availability and provider-login requirements. These details can change.
  5. If you are considering MLB.TV, distinguish authenticated live access from audio or delayed archives, and check the applicable location rules.

Does a streaming device guarantee access?

No. A device can run an app without providing its channel rights or subscription. ESPN lists Roku among devices supported by the ESPN App, but that does not establish that every postseason service app works on every Roku model. Check compatibility for the exact app and device before buying hardware. ESPN App supported devices

What MLB.TV’s viewing figure does—and does not—show

MLB reported that MLB.TV viewers watched 19.4 billion minutes in 2025, up 34% from 2024. That figure is for MLB.TV viewing across 2025, not a postseason-only audience measure, and it does not indicate that MLB.TV carries every playoff game live in the U.S. MLB: 2025 MLB.TV viewership
