Browse its DC collection or search for a specific movie or series. Availability changes over time, and streaming rights vary by country, so no single service can be assumed to have every DC title everywhere.
Where can I stream DC movies and shows right now?
In the United States, start with HBO Max. Its help guidance directs viewers to Categories / Brand Spotlight / DC, or to search for “DC” or the exact movie or series title. That search reveals HBO Max’s current selection, not every DC film or show ever released.

HBO Max describes its collection as select DC titles and says some movies and shows are available for a limited time. Its “Last Chance” row can help identify titles nearing the end of their availability. A title appearing in a past DC collection—or in an older article—is not proof it is still included.
For example, Tom’s Guide’s October 2026 additions list reported that Krypto Saves the Day, Season 2B, was added on October 1. That is a dated example of one addition, not a complete or continuing inventory of the DC catalog.

How to check a particular DC title
- Search HBO Max in the United States. Open Categories, then Brand Spotlight, then DC; alternatively, search the exact movie or series name.
- Confirm the exact entry. Check the title and, for a series, the season or episode you want. A show’s presence does not establish that every season is available.
- Check the access type and any end date. Distinguish a title included with a subscription from one offered for a separate rental or purchase, and note any stated removal date.
- If it is not there, check services and stores available in your country. Search for the exact title and season in country-appropriate digital video stores and check physical editions if you want a disc. Treat these as places to investigate, not confirmed listings for a particular DC work.
Availability is title-specific. A useful record for your own watchlist is the country checked, exact title and season, service or store, access type, and any stated expiration date. Recheck before subscribing or paying: catalogs and licenses can change.
Subscription streaming, digital rentals, and discs are different

Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) says it distributes film and television through owned and third-party platforms, licensing, and transactional home-entertainment channels. That describes distribution options in general; it does not establish where a particular DC movie or series is currently available.

What the studio changes do—and do not—mean for streaming
Corporate plans can change who owns or operates a studio, but they do not provide a title-by-title streaming schedule. A merger announcement is not confirmation that a movie has moved services, that a catalog will be combined, or that a title will be exclusive to a particular platform.

- June and July 2025: WBD announced a planned separation into Streaming & Studios and Global Networks. It said DC Studios and HBO Max would be part of the planned Streaming & Studios company, later identified as Warner Bros. The separation was conditional, with completion projected for mid-2026.
- December 5, 2025: Netflix announced an agreement to acquire Warner Bros., including HBO Max and HBO, and said the DC Universe would join its portfolio. This is historical context, not a current basis for assuming DC titles are on Netflix.
- February 27, 2026: WBD later reported in an SEC filing that it had terminated the Netflix agreement and entered into a merger agreement with Paramount Skydance.
- April–August 2026: WBD said stockholders approved the Paramount Skydance agreement on April 23. Its August 6, 2026 shareholder letter said the closing was on hold pending legal proceedings, until the earlier of five days after those proceedings conclude or June 1, 2027.
That is the status described in WBD’s August 6, 2026 shareholder letter; it should not be read as a prediction of the eventual owner or of future streaming arrangements. For viewers, the practical answer remains to check the specific title in the relevant country.

DC’s June 2023 post documented a range of movies and series on Max at that time, including live-action and animated works. It is a historical snapshot, not a current catalog. Likewise, a service’s DC landing page is a useful starting point, but the presence or absence of a specific title should be checked directly when you plan to watch it.
WBD’s August 6, 2026 2Q26 Shareholder Letter said: “We continue to responsibly distribute our film and TV libraries on owned and third-party platforms and see continued strong demand for both licensed and transactional library content.” This is the company’s description of its distribution strategy; it does not identify a current service for any individual DC title.
