Both modes use the stock and waste pile, but differ in how many cards are turned over from the stock on each draw.
#1 Best Overall
- Turn 1: One stock card is exposed per draw. It offers more immediate access to the stock sequence.
- Turn 3: Three cards are turned over at a time, and only the top exposed card is immediately playable. It generally offers fewer immediate choices; the challenge also depends on the deal and the site’s implementation.
The sites above state different combinations of hints, undo, daily challenges, controls and progress saving. If one of those matters to you, check its current game page before choosing; a feature claim is not a guarantee about every device or session.
Klondike rules at a glance
Klondike is the familiar single-player Solitaire game played with a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to move every card to four suit foundations, building each foundation upward from Ace through King.

- The tableau has seven columns. Build sequences downward, alternating red and black cards.
- Uncovering face-down tableau cards is central to making progress.
- Draw from the stock to the waste pile. The exposed waste card can move to a tableau column or a foundation when the move is legal.
These are common Klondike conventions; individual sites may implement options or rules differently.
What “free” and “no download” mean here
The named publishers describe browser play without a download, and several also say no registration or cost is required. Those are publisher statements rather than an independent check of current access. Pages can change, and what loads or works may depend on your device, browser, region or network. The available information does not establish a consistent ad experience or privacy practice across these sites; review the page and its prompts before proceeding.

Are all Klondike deals winnable?
No. KlondikeSolitaire.com gives a publisher estimate of “roughly 80%” of random deals, while Solitaire.online says “around 80%” are theoretically winnable. Neither page supplies study methods or an independent study, and the result can depend on rules, draw mode and how deals are generated. Treat those figures as the sites’ estimates, not a universal probability for every version of the game.
