How to check platform-specific details
Rockstar is the primary reference for announcements that apply across platforms. Platform holders can add information about their own systems. For example, Sony’s PlayStation Blog post, published June 24 and updated June 26, 2026, discusses PS5 features and repeats the November 19 date. It is useful for PS5-specific details, but Rockstar’s page remains the cross-platform hub.
Is a PC release date announced?
The Rockstar page and support information cited here list PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; they do not give a PC release date. That means a PC date is not announced in these sources—not that Rockstar has said a PC version will never exist. Check the official GTA VI page for any future platform announcement.

You can follow Rockstar’s page, Newswire, newsletter, and social channels without buying the game. If you are separately checking purchase details, Rockstar’s support article says a physical retail box contains a digital download code, not a disc. Its pre-order details, last updated June 26, 2026, list the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Rockstar Store, and select retailers as purchase routes, with availability varying by country.
