Warden’s Stone is reported to come from Urrig the Executioner, reached by opening the broken-bridge route at Winterglass Lake in the snowy Conquered Temple area. Ring the two bells with your Sidearm, then follow the opened path. The stone is described as a 30-Resolve Frost infusion for Great Martyr’s Blade, with its duration increasing as you temper it.
How to reach Warden’s Stone
Several guides place the stone beyond the cleansed Sester’s Gate, on the route through the snowy Conquered Temple area to Winterglass Lake. They report Urrig the Executioner as the reward source. This is guide-reported rather than confirmed by an official item-location record; one indexed item page names a different enemy, so check the reward shown in your game.

- Reach Sester’s Gate. Progress through the Abbey to the gate, which a guide places southeast of Marrow Keep.
- Cleanse its Beacon. Activate and cleanse the Sester’s Gate Beacon, then pass through into the Conquered Temple / Conqueror’s Domain area.
- Continue to Winterglass Lake. Follow the snowy mountain route and activate the nearby Beacon.
- Ring both bells at the broken bridge. Use the Sidearm to ring one bell below on the left side of the gap and the other across the gap. This opens the route onward.
- Follow the opened route to Urrig. Multiple guides report that defeating Urrig the Executioner awards Warden’s Stone.
What to know before fighting Urrig
Official patch notes say Urrig has been reworked with retuned attacks, new ice attacks, and corrected effects. They also state: “Urrig’s spin now gives a proper warning that it cannot be parried.” Watch for that warning rather than trying to parry the spin; dodge or disengage in a way that suits your build. The patch notes describe combat changes, not the item’s location or drop.

What Warden’s Stone does
Warden’s Stone is described as an Infusion Tarstone that costs 30 Resolve to apply Frost to Great Martyr’s Blade. The reported tempering progression is:
| Tempering rank | Reported Frost duration |
|---|---|
| First | 4 strikes |
| Second | 8 strikes |
| Final | Permanent infusion |
These values come from a game reference page updated August 22, 2026, and represent launch-version information as described there. Another database lists Great Martyr’s Blade as compatible but cautions that its stored data may not reflect every patch. Infusion stones are reported as weapon-locked, so do not assume Warden’s Stone can be applied to other weapons.
