On most Samsung Smart TVs, open Settings > Support > About This TV and scroll through the device information to find the MAC address. Depending on the model, the page may instead be called About TV, or the address may be listed under Contact Samsung.
Find the MAC address in your TV’s settings
Samsung’s menu labels vary by model and software version. These are common routes, not a guarantee that every TV will use exactly the same wording.

2022 and newer models
- Press the Home button on the remote and open Settings.
- Choose All Settings > Support > About This TV.
- Scroll down through the information until you see the MAC address. Samsung Canada lists this route for 2022-and-newer models: Samsung Canada’s network-status guide.
2021 and older models
- Press Home, then choose Settings > Support > About This TV.
- Scroll down through the TV information to locate the address.
Samsung Canada gives this route for 2021-and-older models. Samsung’s US instructions also point to Settings > Support, followed by About This TV or, on some models, Contact Samsung: Samsung US: Connect your Samsung TV to the internet.

Choose the address for Wi-Fi or Ethernet
If the information page shows both Wireless MAC Address and Wired MAC Address, use the wireless address for a Wi-Fi connection and the wired address for an Ethernet connection. The MAC address is associated with the network interface, so the label matters when you are identifying the connection in a router or network settings.

If you can’t find the address
- Scroll farther down; the address may not appear near the top of the information page.
- Look for About TV if you do not see About This TV.
- Check Contact Samsung under Support if your model does not show an About TV page.
- If the menu still differs, use Samsung’s instructions for your country and TV model. Samsung Mexico notes that screens and menus can vary by model and software version: Samsung Mexico: Set up a network connection on your Samsung Smart TV.
You do not need to connect the TV to Wi-Fi or Ethernet just to check the address in its settings. Finding the MAC address and connecting to a network are separate tasks.
