On a Lenovo Yoga C940 14IIL, the integrated pen is stored in a slot on the computer’s rear side, near the power button. Other Yoga models may store a separate pen magnetically on the upper cover, include a pen case, or ship without a pen. The exact location and whether a pen was included depend on the model and configuration.
Find the pen based on your Yoga model
Yoga C940 14IIL
Check the rear side of the computer near the power button. Lenovo’s Yoga C940 14IIL user guide says the integrated pen sits in a slot there. Slide it outward from the slot’s notch, then gently pull it free. Lenovo says this integrated pen does not need to be paired.

Yoga 7/7i 2-in-1 Series
If your particular configuration included a Yoga Pen, look for it attached magnetically to the upper cover. The Yoga 7/7i 2-in-1 Series user guide makes clear that pen inclusion varies by model.

Yoga Pro 7a (15-inch, 11)
Look for the pen magnetically attached to the upper cover or, on selected models, inside its pen case. Lenovo’s Yoga Pro 7a user guide says the case can also attach magnetically to the upper cover. It warns that magnetic interference may make pen response slow or temporarily unresponsive, so avoid attaching the pen or case to arbitrary metal surfaces.

Other Yoga models
Do not assume every Yoga has a built-in slot or an included pen. Check the exact model’s user guide for its storage location and configuration details.
Check whether your Yoga came with a pen
A touchscreen or the Yoga name alone does not confirm that a pen was included. Lenovo says configuration matters. Find your exact model or machine type, then check its product specifications and use Lenovo Support’s pen configuration guidance. The support page, last modified March 19, 2026, directs users to specifications and Smart Find to check pen compatibility, and to Parts Lookup for service part numbers.

Choose a compatible replacement
If the pen is missing, identify the exact Yoga model before buying a replacement. Use Lenovo’s Smart Find or product specifications to check compatibility, and Parts Lookup to identify the relevant service part number. Lenovo’s GX81J19850 accessory specifications illustrate that compatibility depends on specified models and features; it is not evidence that one pen fits every Yoga.
