The 2026 Haunted Floating Festival runs through October 31. On the Haunted Floating Island, collect feathers by the Scarecrow, Haunted Skeleton Fish beside Zero’s House, and white roses beside the Haunted Mansion. Those pickups supply the Terror-rific Tree and part of the Potion Brewer’s cauldron recipe; the remaining cauldron ingredients come from fishing in the Valley.
How to reach the Haunted Floating Island
Enter through the event portal in the Plaza or use the event-menu teleport option. Gameloft’s Season of Scares update notes say the 2026 festival began October 7 and is available until October 31, with new and returning puzzles and seasonal rewards. The portal and teleport flow are also described in Gameloft’s 2025 event article; its prior-year dates and puzzle schedule do not apply to the 2026 event.

Where to find the three Haunted Island resources
The locations, item caps, and respawn intervals below are current walkthrough details reported by the community-maintained Dreamlight Valley Wiki, rather than figures stated in Gameloft’s event announcement.

- Haunted Crow Feathers: Pick them up near the Scarecrow. Up to three can be present; the wiki reports a 10-minute respawn.
- Haunted Skeleton Fish: Find them beside Zero’s House. Up to three can be present; the wiki reports a 10-minute respawn.
- Haunted White Roses: Find them beside the Haunted Mansion. Up to three can be present; the wiki reports a 15-minute respawn.
Collect what is available, then return after the relevant respawn interval until you have enough. The Haunted Skeleton Fish also feeds the Ghostly “Zero” Fox; the wiki says feeding it yields one memory piece per day, with four daily feedings needed for the complete memory.

- 20 Haunted Crow Feathers
- 15 Haunted Skeleton Fish
- 10 Haunted White Roses
The nearby clue book describes the requested resources in riddles, but all three are collected at their island locations above.

What goes in the Potion Brewer’s cauldron
The cauldron recipe combines two event-island resources with two Valley fish:
- 1 Haunted White Rose
- 1 Catfish
- 2 Haunted Skeleton Fish
- 1 Swordfish
Fish for Catfish in gold ripples in Peaceful Meadow and Swordfish in gold ripples on Dazzle Beach. The rose and Haunted Skeleton Fish are collected beside the Haunted Mansion and Zero’s House, respectively.

Use the clues around the island and count the pumpkins beside them to determine the sequence. Set the pillar to:
- Spider Web
- Bat
- Witch Hat
- Cat
Haunted Mansion armor quiz answers
Answer the armor’s questions in this order:
- Blue pumpkins on the island: Six.
- Animal in the Scary Surprise Box: A cat.
- Graves at the festival: Seven.
- Ghostly “Zero” Fox’s favorite food: Blue Skele-Fish.

Lost Magic Page
The community wiki describes a combination puzzle in a locked bedroom. Its entry says the bedroom is unlocked with a Repaired Haunted Key after completing the Missing Books puzzle.
Eerie Basement Door
Break the lion statue with a key in its mouth using the Pickaxe to obtain the Eerie Basement Door Key, then use that key at the exterior basement door.
Ninth puzzle
As of October 7, 2026, the community wiki lists the ninth puzzle as scheduled for release on October 18, but its solution is still TBA. Its requirements and reward are not established yet.
