If you want an officially documented physical Zelda soundtrack, Nintendo currently points buyers to the Breath of the Wild vinyl made with Laced Records. Nintendo identifies Nintendo Store and Laced Records as direct sales channels for its limited editions while supplies last. For another physical option, Columbia Music Shop lists a four-CD Link’s Awakening set; for digital listening, Nintendo Music is Nintendo’s official service, with membership and country restrictions.
Official Zelda soundtrack buying options
| Option | Format and contents | Where it is documented | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Breath of the Wild | Double LP, 34 selected tracks, or an 8-LP box set with 130 tracks | Nintendo Store and Laced Records are named as direct channels for the limited editions while supplies last. Nintendo’s announcement and US product page document the releases. | Current stock, live price, and whether the seller ships to your country. |
| Link’s Awakening | Four CDs, 205 tracks, combining the Nintendo Switch and Game Boy game audio | Columbia Music Shop listing | Current inventory, edition, and overseas shipping; the listing is for Japan-market sales. |
| Nintendo Music | Digital streaming, not a separately purchased physical soundtrack | Nintendo Music service page | Country availability and the Nintendo Switch Online membership requirement. |
This is not a complete catalog of every Zelda soundtrack ever released. The documented listings establish these specific options, but do not show that every older CD or vinyl release is currently sold by Nintendo.

Which Breath of the Wild vinyl edition should you choose?
Nintendo’s 2025 announcement listed US prices of $49.99 for the double LP and $194.99 for the 8-LP set. Those are the announcement’s US regular prices, not a guarantee of today’s price or availability; check the live regional product page before ordering.
| Edition | Documented contents | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Double LP | 34 selected tracks, including “Overworld (Day),” “Great Fairy Fountain,” and “Hyrule Castle.” Nintendo lists it on its Canada product page. | A smaller physical set if you want selected cues and fewer records. |
| 8-LP box set | 130 tracks, newly mastered for vinyl, arranged by game themes, with Nintendo archival artwork and box packaging. See the US product page. | A larger collection if track count and boxed presentation matter more than shelf space and cost. |
The 34-track release is described as a selection; do not assume either set is a complete game soundtrack unless the relevant product page explicitly says so. Nintendo’s announcement says the limited editions are sold directly by Laced Records, Nintendo Store, Nintendo NEW YORK, and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO while supplies last. Store availability and shipping can differ by region.

Buying the Link’s Awakening CD set
Columbia Music Shop’s listing describes a four-CD, 205-track collection combining audio from the Nintendo Switch and Game Boy versions of Link’s Awakening. It also says the limited first production changes to a regular edition after limited stock sells out. Check the shop listing for the current edition and inventory. Because this is a Japan-market listing, do not assume overseas delivery; confirm shipping destinations and total cost with the shop before purchase.

Nintendo Music is the official digital listening option documented on Nintendo’s Zelda pages. It requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership and is not available in every country. It is a streaming service, so it is not a way to buy a physical record or CD. Check the service page for current country availability and membership details.

How to check a seller before ordering
- Start with the official product or shop page. For the vinyl, use Nintendo’s regional store or Laced Records; for the listed CD set, use Columbia Music Shop.
- Confirm the exact edition. Compare the format and track count with the product description rather than relying on a broad “Zelda soundtrack” search result.
- Check regional details at checkout. Stock, shipping destinations, taxes, and final price can vary, and the documented announcements do not guarantee availability in every country.
- Be cautious with older or resale listings. The official sources cited here do not establish that other marketplace listings are authorized or authentic. Verify the edition and seller before treating an older release as an official purchase.
