Where to play the demo
The standalone Steam demo is available on Windows as of 16 October 2026. SteamDB records the demo (app 5024030) as released at 07:51:37 UTC that day, with full controller support. The demo is therefore a PC-only trial at present; no PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2 demo has been announced in the available platform information.

What kind of game is Where the Seeds Fall?
Developed by CygamesEdge and ZEREO Inc. and published by Cygames, Where the Seeds Fall is a single-player action-adventure set on a Blight-ravaged Earth. Survivors live on the branches of a World Tree, and a soldier encounters a child branded a “Fell Child.” The central journey is an escort mission toward the surface.

Traversal is built around unstable platforms, powerful winds and deliberately controlled falls. Flower buds are collected and thrown to create blossoms that absorb impacts that would otherwise be fatal. The result is less about conventional combat and more about reading the environment, choosing a safe route and using each flower at the right moment.
How long is the full game?
Steam describes the main story as a “densely-packed narrative experience” that takes about three hours to finish. That estimate refers to the core campaign, not every available challenge.

Because the campaign is intentionally compact, the demo is a useful test of whether the wind, falling and impact-protection mechanics appeal to you before the full release.
Release date and platforms
Steam currently lists the release window as November 2026. A same-day launch report gives the specific date of 5 November 2026 and names Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. That date and console lineup should be treated as the current reported plan until the individual platform stores confirm them.

What these requirements mean
- A Windows 10 system does not meet the listed operating-system requirement; the store specifies Windows 11.
- 16 GB RAM is required even at minimum settings.
- The minimum graphics class is roughly a GTX 1660 or RX 6600, while the recommended tier moves to an RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT.
- An SSD is mandatory, so a hard-drive-only installation does not satisfy the published requirements.
Controller support
Steam lists full controller support, and the developers explicitly recommend playing with a controller.
