When Sirens Fall Silent does not have an announced release date. As of 18 October 2026, Steam lists the launch as “To be announced,” and the publisher’s FAQ offers update registration rather than a day, month or year. The game cannot be installed yet.
A digital pre-order is available from the official publisher shop for £24.99, but its code will be delivered only when the game officially releases and the listed price can change before launch. The announced platforms are PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

When does When Sirens Fall Silent come out?
There is no confirmed release date. Steam’s planned release field says “To be announced,” and the publisher’s FAQ does not provide a substitute window such as a season, quarter or year. That means there is currently no reliable date for launch, early access, preload or review access.

The most useful way to follow the release is to register for updates through the publisher and add the game to the storefront wishlists that the publisher identifies. A wishlist notification is an alert that information or availability has changed; it is not a download reservation and does not install the game.

What “TBA” means for buyers
- No launch day, month or year has been committed publicly.
- A pre-order placed now is waiting for a later delivery event rather than a scheduled shipment.
- Preload timing, launch-hour availability and the final installation procedure have not been published.
- Any date circulating on an unofficial listing should be treated as unconfirmed unless it appears in an official announcement or the relevant storefront’s listing.
What kind of game is it?
When Sirens Fall Silent is a dark investigative psychological thriller developed by Italian studio LKA and published by Wired Productions. It is set in early-1990s Italy, with the publisher describing locations in the suburbs of Rome. You play Mila, a policewoman investigating kidnappings and murders.
The investigation is the core loop rather than a side activity. Players examine crime scenes, collect and connect clues, interview characters through detailed or branching dialogue, and solve environmental puzzles. Those systems suggest a game in which observation and interpretation matter as much as movement through the environment. The available descriptions do not establish how many chapters it contains, whether cases can be failed permanently, or how long a typical playthrough lasts.
How the investigation is expected to work
- Crime-scene examination: Search environments for evidence instead of treating locations as simple corridors between cutscenes.
- Clue assembly: Organize findings so relationships between people, places and events can be inferred.
- Interviews: Detailed or branching conversations indicate that the order or wording of questions may affect what you learn.
- Environmental puzzles: Use objects and contextual information in the surroundings to progress.
Those features are part of the announced premise. Specific mechanics—such as a formal evidence board, difficulty settings, autosave behavior or accessibility controls—have not been detailed publicly.

Which platforms will support the game?
The original announcement focused on PC. On 15 October 2026, Wired Productions confirmed versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S alongside the PC release. No PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or mobile edition has been announced.
| Platform | Announcement status | What is available now |
|---|---|---|
| PC | Announced; release date TBA | Steam listing and PC wishlist options; no installation |
| PlayStation 5 | Confirmed on 15 October 2026; release date TBA | Publisher-linked wishlist |
| Xbox Series X|S | Confirmed on 15 October 2026; release date TBA | Publisher-linked wishlist |
| GOG | Publisher provides a wishlist link; release timing TBA | Wishlist only |
| Epic Games Store | Publisher provides a wishlist link; release timing TBA | Wishlist only |
The storefront list does not establish feature parity. There is no published comparison of resolution modes, frame-rate targets, ray tracing, controller functions, achievement systems, cloud saves or edition-specific content. Those are useful questions to check when a launch date and final store pages appear.
Can you pre-order When Sirens Fall Silent?
Yes. The official Wired Productions shop lists a digital pre-order at £24.99. The displayed amount is in pounds sterling and should not be assumed to be the final price in another country or currency.

The shop’s terms state: “This product is a pre-order. Your game code will be delivered when the game is officially released. Pricing is subject to change prior to release.” In practical terms, purchasing now does not provide an executable, a beta build or immediate access. Delivery is contingent on the eventual official launch.
What the pre-order listing does not confirm
- A specific release date or time.
- A preload date or a guaranteed period of early access.
- A boxed physical edition or a console-specific SKU.
- Which storefront will redeem the delivered code.
- A refund policy beyond the store terms linked from the purchase page.
- Whether the £24.99 amount is locked for every buyer if the price changes before release.
Read the shop’s current terms at checkout, keep the order confirmation, and use a payment method whose dispute and refund rules you understand. If certainty about delivery timing matters more than securing an order, waiting for a dated launch announcement avoids committing money while the schedule remains open.
Can you install it now?
No. Steam currently marks the game as not yet available and shows the planned release as TBA. A Steam, Epic, GOG, PlayStation or Xbox wishlist entry does not download files, reserve storage or activate a license. The pre-order page likewise promises code delivery at release, not an immediate installer.

Do not download purported pre-release installers from third-party file sites. With no official build available, such files cannot be verified as the game and can expose your computer or account to malware and credential theft.
How installation should work after release
The final process depends on where you buy the game. The publisher has confirmed storefront delivery and a release-time code for the digital pre-order, but it has not yet published final redemption or preload instructions. The following are the normal actions to expect; the exact labels can change when the launch pages go live.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Steam purchase or Steam code
- Sign in to the Steam account that should own the game and confirm that your PC meets the published requirements.
- If you receive a code, open Steam’s game or product activation option, enter the code exactly as supplied and confirm the account assignment.
- Open your Library, select When Sirens Fall Silent, choose an installation drive with sufficient free space and start the download.
- Allow Steam to finish patching before launching. If the store offers preload, the encrypted files may download before release but remain locked until the announced launch time.
Epic Games Store or GOG
- Use the account associated with the purchase and redeem the code only through the official client or account page for that storefront.
- Find the game in your library, select an install location and begin the download after the storefront recognizes ownership.
- Keep the client open for updates and verify that the game appears in the correct account before contacting support.
Which of these stores receives a code is not specified by the current pre-order listing. Check the order email and the publisher’s delivery instructions rather than guessing.

- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.

- Open the platform’s library or owned-games section after the release has been activated.
- Select the game, choose the internal or approved expansion storage location and start the download.
- Install any launch-day patch before starting the campaign. Console preload, smart-delivery behavior and disc availability have not been announced.
What PC specifications are confirmed?
Steam currently provides only a partial baseline. It requires a 64-bit processor and operating system and lists Windows 10/11 for minimum support. The processor and graphics requirements are both marked TBC (to be confirmed). Recommended specifications are not yet detailed beyond 64-bit support.
| Requirement area | Confirmed information | Not yet published |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11 | Specific build, update or edition requirements |
| Architecture | 64-bit processor and 64-bit operating system | — |
| CPU | None; listed as TBC | Model, generation, core count and clock target |
| GPU | None; listed as TBC | Model, VRAM, DirectX feature level and ray-tracing support |
| Memory | Not stated | Minimum and recommended RAM |
| Storage | Not stated | Install size, patch size and whether an SSD is required |
| Recommended configuration | Not detailed beyond 64-bit support | All performance targets and component levels |
How to prepare a PC without guessing
- Install current Windows updates and graphics-driver updates, but do not infer performance from those updates alone.
- Check that the system is 64-bit: in Windows, open Settings, choose System, then About, and review “System type.”
- Keep more free storage than the eventual download size so the storefront can unpack files and apply patches.
- Record your CPU, GPU and installed memory now. Compare them with the official minimum and recommended table when those values are added.
- If you use a laptop, verify that the game runs on the dedicated GPU rather than an integrated graphics chip once a testable build exists.
Until CPU, GPU, RAM and storage figures are published, no responsible performance prediction can say whether a particular PC will run the game well.
What content warnings apply?
Steam’s developer warning recommends the game for adults and identifies potentially distressing material involving blood, dismemberment, disfigurement, sexual trauma, psychological trauma and misogyny. These are not merely atmospheric references: players who are sensitive to graphic injury or trauma-related themes should review the warning before purchasing or playing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe warning does not state how frequently these subjects appear, whether they can be reduced through settings, or whether content filters are available. Those controls should be checked in the final options menu and accessibility documentation rather than assumed.
What information should you check when a release date is announced?
A date alone will not answer every installation question. When the publisher and storefronts update their pages, verify the following items separately:
- Release-day availability: Confirm whether PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S launch on the same date or in separate regions or phases.
- Price and currency: Compare the final regional prices with the £24.99 pre-order listing and check whether taxes are included.
- Preload: Look for the start time, download size and unlock time for each platform.
- Performance: Check resolution and frame-rate modes on consoles and the complete CPU, GPU, RAM and storage table for PC.
- Controls and platform features: Confirm controller support, achievements or trophies, cloud saves and account requirements.
- Edition differences: Look for standard, deluxe or physical versions and any content that is limited to a particular platform or purchase channel.
- Refund and code terms: Re-read the retailer’s current policy, especially if the price or delivery conditions changed before launch.
Until those updates appear, the firm facts are limited to a TBA release, the announced platforms, the £24.99 digital pre-order terms, the inability to install now and the partial Windows requirements listed above.
