Sherwin-Williams announced that it plans to release Q3 2026 results before the market opens on October 27, 2026. The company has scheduled a conference call for 10:00 a.m. EDT that day, with Chair, President and CEO Heidi Petz and other senior executives participating. For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company reported net sales of $6,789.3 million, up 7.5% from $6,314.5 million a year earlier. Net income increased 11.8% to $843.6 million. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) rose 14.3% to $3.43 from $3.00.

What is driving growth, and what is weighing on results?
CEO Heidi G. Petz attributed the sales improvement to growth investments, new account wins and increased share of wallet. Those are management’s explanations for the quarter, not independently verified measures of the contribution from each factor.

Management also described an unsettled operating environment. It said demand had not meaningfully improved and that raw-material inflation pressured gross margin. The Q2 release also cited higher employee-related costs, Suvinil-related selling, general and administrative expenses, costs associated with the new global headquarters and technology center, and higher interest expense as factors affecting expenses or profitability.
The resulting picture is not simply “growth” or “weak demand”: reported sales and EPS advanced, but the company’s own account points to cost pressure and a demand backdrop that had not materially improved. Investors can use the October report to see whether those conditions changed, rather than assuming the Q2 trend continued unchanged.
