What does the expansion add?
Capcom says the expansion adds a new story and additional content. It also says development responds to feedback received after the main game’s release, with a stated aim of making the experience more accessible. The announcement does not detail specific gameplay systems, story setting or the scope of those accessibility changes.
Is the Xbox release the full game or an expansion?
For Xbox, Capcom identifies Dark Arisen as an expansion to the existing Dragon’s Dogma 2, not as a package that includes the base game. The announcement separately says the Nintendo Switch 2 version combines the main game and expansion. It does not specify whether an Xbox physical edition will be offered, or provide an Xbox price or store listing, so check the current Xbox store details before buying.

Which seven Xbox games are out today?
The available official announcement confirms Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for October 9, 2026, but does not name the other games in the claimed seven-title roundup. Without a verified source for those entries, listing six additional titles would risk giving you the wrong games or release details.

Capcom reported more than 14 million cumulative units sold for the Dragon’s Dogma series as of March 31, 2026. That is a series-wide figure, not sales of Dragon’s Dogma 2 alone, according to the company’s June 10, 2026 announcement.
