What seat do you get in Qantas A380 First?
Each passenger has an individual suite with a seat that converts into a fully flat bed. Qantas lists a 55.9 cm (22 in) seat width and 201 cm (79 in) pitch on its A380 page, along with lumbar support, an in-seat massage function, an electronic window shade, power and USB charging, and an 18 in high-definition seat-back screen. The A380 page gives the bed length as up to 213 cm (84 in), while Qantas’s separate First cabin page says 212 cm; if an exact measurement matters, check the aircraft and flight details rather than relying on one figure. Qantas says cabin crew can turn the suite into a bed, with Sheridan bedding, a pillow menu and a memory foam mattress. The airline also lists noise-cancelling headphones and onboard entertainment. A leather ottoman allows a travelling companion to dine with the First passenger in the suite.

What food is served in Qantas First?
Qantas describes its First menu as personalised, with Australian ingredients and suppliers. The airline lists Australian wines, Champagne, cocktails, cold-pressed juices and Binjang teas; onboard sommeliers are available on selected flights. In a Qantas announcement dated December 11, 2025, the airline said new First enhancements—including dishes by Neil Perry’s Margaret, dine-on-demand, amenity kits and sleepwear—were expected to be fully rolled out across its network by mid-2026. That announcement is a rollout plan, not confirmation that every item is on every flight now. It gave yellowfin tuna tartare, roasted Wollemi duck and crumbed Margra lamb cutlets as sample dishes; these are examples, not guaranteed menu items. Does Qantas First include lounge access?
Qantas describes lounge access and facilities as part of the First experience, but availability depends on the airport, itinerary and operating conditions. The airline’s First lounges are described as offering chef-designed food, drinks including barista coffee, private business suites and complimentary LaGaia spa treatments. Qantas specifically names Sydney and Melbourne for First check-in suites and spa facilities; facilities should not be assumed to be identical at every airport.
