If an AION 2 rune reward is missing, first identify where it was supposed to come from: a Twitch Drop, a PURPLE livestream reward, or an in-game quest or activity. The checks are different, and the official materials reviewed do not establish how the Clash Rune named in this title is earned or confirm a current Clash Rune bug. For Twitch Drops, verify eligibility, claim status, and the linked platform account; for other rewards, preserve the details and ask AION 2 Support to check your character’s reward record.
First identify the reward source
Write down the exact name of the rune and the event, quest, or activity that promised it. A Twitch Drop has its own campaign requirements and claim process; a PURPLE livestream reward may have event-specific instructions; an in-game quest or activity reward cannot be diagnosed using Twitch Drop steps alone.

- Twitch Drop: You watched a participating Twitch channel during an AION 2 campaign and expected a reward.
- PURPLE livestream reward: The reward was tied to a particular livestream or PURPLE event.
- In-game reward: A quest, mission, or activity said it would grant a rune.
The official AION 2 Twitch Drops FAQ explains Twitch Drop requirements. The official materials reviewed do not verify the acquisition route, prerequisites, quantity, or delivery location for the Clash Rune specifically. If the reward came from a quest or activity, record its exact name rather than assuming the Drop process applies.
If the missing reward was a Twitch Drop
Check campaign eligibility and claim status
- Confirm the AION 2 Twitch Drop campaign was active when you watched and that the channel was participating.
- Check that you watched for the campaign’s required duration.
- Open Twitch Drops Inventory and confirm that you claimed the reward. Watching alone is not the same as claiming it. The FAQ says a missed claim notification does not prevent you from claiming while the campaign is still active.
- Check your server region. The FAQ says AION 2 Twitch Drops are for Global server players; Korea and Taiwan server players are not eligible.
If you claimed an eligible Drop on a Global server and it still has not arrived, the FAQ directs you to AION 2 Support.

Verify the linked account matches your game platform
Check that Twitch is linked to the platform account you actually use to play AION 2: link Steam for a Steam player, or NC (Purple) for a player who accesses the game through NC (Purple). The official AION 2 Steam announcements include an account-linking guide that warns a mismatch may prevent Drop delivery. Do not create a separate link through the NC website as a generic recovery step; the guide warns that doing so can disrupt an existing connection.
Use the relog workaround only for the matching PURPLE livestream issue
NC’s September 23 notice described a specific problem affecting claims from a PURPLE livestream Drop. For players affected by that issue, the notice’s refresh steps were to relog or return to character selection and log in again, then claim again using the chest icon to the left of the minimap. This is an event-specific workaround, not a confirmed fix for every missing rune, Twitch Drop, or Clash Rune. If your reward came from a different source, do not treat this notice as evidence that the same bug or remedy applies.
Check whether an official notice matches your issue
The AION 2 Steam announcements page displayed an “Advanced Access Known Issues (Updated: 10/4)” notice on October 4, 2026. That notice does not list a Clash Rune or rune-reward issue. This means the notice does not confirm a known Clash Rune bug; it does not prove that no defect exists, or establish what happened on an individual account. Check the official announcements for a notice matching your exact reward source, server, and timing.

NC has documented other reward issues tied to particular activities and circumstances. A December 17 notice concerned missed Spacetime Rift completion rewards when completion coincided with the Rift’s end time; a May notice covered a mission-score issue involving Nightmare bosses. These are historical, activity-specific examples—not explanations for a missing Clash Rune. See the December 17 notice and the May notice.

If you cannot establish that the reward was a Twitch Drop, or the applicable checks have not resolved the issue, ask official Support to verify the reward record for your character. For a claimed eligible Twitch Drop, this is also the route specified by the official FAQ.

- When you met the requirement and, for a Drop, when you claimed it.
- Where you checked for the reward, such as inventory or mail, and the checks you already tried.
- Screenshots or video showing the campaign claim, quest/activity completion, or relevant in-game state.
The available official information does not establish a universal destination for every rune reward, a guaranteed Support response time, or a general compensation policy. Avoid concluding that a reward was granted—or that a bug is confirmed—until Support or a matching official notice verifies it.
