Compare your itemized T-Mobile bill with the confirmation for the exact iPhone promotion before assuming the deal is missing. An advertised phone price may be the net cost after monthly bill credits, while your statement lists the full device installment. The first bill can also include timing differences and one-time charges; some credits may not appear until a later bill.
Start with the bill and the exact promotion confirmation
Open the itemized bill and the order or promotion confirmation for your purchase. T-Mobile’s account tools let you review promotions, orders, and account changes. Match each charge and credit to the offer rather than relying on the headline advertised price.

- Plan charge: Check the service plan and any line-related charges.
- Device installment: Compare the gross monthly equipment charge with the advertised amount. If the advertised price is lower, it may assume recurring promotional credits.
- Credits: Look for the device-promotion credit and any separate trade-in credit. Confirm the amounts and the period specified in the offer.
- Taxes, fees, and one-time charges: Identify these separately; they can raise the amount due without changing the phone’s promotional calculation.
T-Mobile’s 2026 offer details show that values, credit periods, requirements, and end dates vary by promotion. Use the terms for your specific offer, not another iPhone deal.
Why the first bill may be higher
T-Mobile says a first bill is due approximately 20 days after joining and includes a full 30 days of plan and equipment charges. Service may be billed in advance, so the timing and amount can differ from the recurring bill you expected. T-Mobile also notes that some promotion values are split between trade-in credit and monthly recurring credits, and that credits or equipment installments may not appear until the second bill. That means a first statement with the full device installment but no promotional credit is not, by itself, proof that the offer was denied. Check whether the credit appears on the next bill and whether your offer specifies a processing window.

Compare the terms in your confirmation with your account and purchase details, including the selected plan, line, trade-in device, and any required submission or account conditions. Allow the stated credit window, then report a mismatch
T-Mobile says some promotions allow two billing cycles for credits to begin; its general recurring-device-credit guidance says credits may take up to two full bill cycles after qualification. Check the window in your specific offer, since timing and terms can differ. If that period has passed and the expected credit is still missing—or the amount does not match—contact T-Mobile with your order or promotion confirmation and the relevant bill entries.

Check before paying off the phone or cancelling
Review the continuation rules for your exact promotion before paying off the device early or cancelling service. Some offers say that credits can end after early payoff or cancellation, but the effect depends on the promotion. Do not assume the remaining credits will continue unchanged.

T-Mobile’s terms list its website, 800-937-8997, and dialing 611 from a T-Mobile device as support routes for billing questions or disputes. Have the bill, offer confirmation, order details, and promotion code available so support can review the account-specific eligibility and credits.

T-Mobile says an adjustment appears on a future statement and advises paying the full amount due to avoid late fees or service interruption. If you dispute a charge, ask support how that specific amount is being handled. Its adjustments and refunds page describes the adjustment process.
