Save the exact notice and related evidence, never send your password or authentication codes, and do not try to bypass the restriction with another account.
Take these steps before you appeal
- Capture the evidence immediately. Take screenshots of the login or in-game message, including any code, wording, date, and time shown. Record the AION2 character name or names, region, server, and the approximate moment access stopped.
- Confirm what is actually inaccessible. Test only the normal, authorized sign-in path and note whether the problem affects one AION2 character, the entire AION2 game, other NC services, or a particular network connection. A short login error does not identify the sanction category by itself.
- Open the official appeal route. On the AION2 website, use the Contact Us section for sanction and account inquiries. Choose the option intended for a sanction appeal rather than posting only on a community forum.
- Submit before the deadline. The AION2 Operation Policy says an appeal must be filed within 15 days from the date of the sanction. Do not wait for the final day in case the form, identity checks, or attachments take longer than expected.
- Keep a complete record. Save the submitted text, attachments, confirmation page, ticket number, and every reply. If support asks for clarification, answer in the same case where possible so the reviewer can see the full history.
Use the correct official channel
The Operation Policy directs users to the website’s Contact Us section for inquiries, requests, and appeals about sanctions and account matters. It identifies the separate Report section for issues such as account theft and reports about abusive users. A public post, social-media message, or an email address found on an unofficial site is not a substitute for the account review process.

The policy describes the enforcement sequence as Terms violation → (Report) → Investigation → (Pre-notification) → Sanction → Appeal → Notification of appeal result. That sequence matters because the appeal is a formal step after a sanction, not a demand that support reverse an action without checking the account. Accounts connected with a report may also be temporarily restricted while an investigation is under way.

If the message does not show a sanction date, state that in your ticket and ask support to confirm the date used for the appeal window. The published policy gives the 15-day period, but it does not promise an extension or describe a different deadline for a particular message.

Ask support to identify the restriction
AION2’s policy distinguishes several actions. Knowing the category helps you describe the problem accurately, but a player should not infer it solely from being unable to log in.

An official AION2 notice dated September 1, 2026 also describes temporary account-protection measures when access from a particular device or connection suggests a security risk. The notice tells people who believe a sanction or temporary protection measure was applied unintentionally to contact Customer Support. That notice confirms the protection action exists in that context; it does not prove that a specific player was falsely flagged. Include the device or network change in your explanation and ask support to distinguish a protection measure from a disciplinary ban.

What to include in the appeal
The policy does not publish a mandatory form, fixed wording, or guaranteed evidence standard. A short, factual message gives the reviewer the information needed to locate the account without burying the request in speculation.

Do not include a password, one-time authentication code, recovery code, or security answer.
- Timing: state the sanction date if shown, the approximate time access changed, your region and server, and whether the problem began during a particular session.
- Exact notice: copy the wording or error code exactly, and attach a legible screenshot. Do not paraphrase a message if the original is available.
- Clear request: say that you believe the restriction may have been applied in error and ask for an account-specific review, confirmation of the restriction type, and the stated basis for the action.
- Relevant context: mention a recent device, location, network, payment, or account-security change only when it is something you know occurred. Separate facts from suspicions.
- Case history: add earlier support reference numbers and keep copies of your submission and replies.
Do not send a long accusation against another player, a list of rumours, or an unsupported claim that a particular program caused the ban. The reviewer needs verifiable account details, not a theory presented as a fact.

A practical message structure
This is a user-written structure, not an official AION2 template:
Subject: Request for review of AION2 account restriction
Account identifier: [your NC/PLAYNC identifier]
AION2 character name(s): [character names]

Restriction first seen: [date and approximate time]
Message shown: [exact text or error code]
I believe this restriction may have been applied in error. Please review the account action, confirm whether it is a temporary ban, permanent ban, account-protection measure, IP block, or another action, and explain the stated basis if policy permits.
Relevant facts: [brief, chronological facts]
Attachments: [notice screenshot and previous case reference, if applicable]
Replace the bracketed prompts with your own information and remove anything that does not apply. Never paste authentication secrets into the form, even if a message claiming to be support asks for them.

Explain facts without guessing the cause
The policy’s sanctions table lists examples such as gold-farming or bot operations, use or distribution of unauthorized programs, exploiting bugs, account trading, real-money trading, payment fraud, account hacking, and other policy categories. Those examples describe conduct the policy can sanction; they are not a diagnosis of your account. Do not assert that you were flagged for a specific program or activity unless the official notice says so.
Account ownership and access history can matter. The support FAQ search result says accounts reported as bought, sold, shared, or stolen are investigated and may receive a penalty. The Operation Policy also states that sanctions may apply to both the violating party and the account holder when a violation during theft or sharing is attributable to the user’s own fault. If you suspect compromise, say exactly what you observed—such as an unfamiliar login or changed account detail—and ask support to direct you to the appropriate account-security process. Do not label an account as stolen merely because you disagree with the sanction.

For a device or connection change, describe what changed, when it changed, and whether anyone else could access the account. This gives support a concrete lead while avoiding the unsupported conclusion that a security check was a false positive.
What happens after submission
The policy warns that investigations may take time and that a re-investigation may be conducted in some cases. Its exact process language is: Reported investigations may take some time, and re-investigations may be conducted in some cases.
There is no published response-time commitment, appeal-success rate, or guarantee that an appeal will be upheld.
While waiting, monitor the support case and respond to requests with concise, consistent information. A second message is useful when it adds requested evidence or corrects a factual error; sending repeated identical tickets can hurt clarity. The policy lists repeated identical inquiries and abuse of support or reporting as sanctionable false-report behavior, so do not flood multiple queues with the same text.
Support may confirm that the action is temporary, explain that a permanent sanction remains, request more information, or identify a different account-security restriction. Do not interpret silence as approval, and do not treat an automated acknowledgement as a decision.
Actions that can make the situation worse
- Do not evade the restriction. Creating or using another account to continue playing can create additional policy issues and does not provide a review of the original account.
- Do not buy an “unban” service. A third party cannot replace the official account investigation, and paying someone for access or a supposed internal contact can expose your credentials.
- Do not rely on a VPN, antivirus product, or other tool as a remedy. The cited policy and notice do not identify any such tool as a way to remove a sanction. Changing connections can also make a security review harder to interpret.
- Do not submit credentials. Passwords, one-time codes, and recovery secrets are not evidence of innocence and should not be included in a support request.
- Do not alter evidence. Keep the original screenshot and wording, and explain any uncertainty instead of editing a notice to make it appear different.
- Do not threaten staff or accuse them of misconduct. A calm, chronological account is easier to review than an abusive or repetitive message.
A simple decision checklist
- If the notice names a ban and gives a date, submit the Contact Us sanction appeal within the policy’s 15-day window.
- If the notice is vague, ask support to classify it as a temporary or permanent game ban, integrated-account ban, warning, item adjustment, IP block, or temporary protection measure.
- If other NC services are also inaccessible, mention that fact because it may indicate a broader account action rather than an AION2-only restriction.
- If you suspect account theft, sharing, or unauthorized access, describe the observable facts and request the account-security process instead of guessing who caused it.
- If you have already appealed, preserve the case number, answer follow-up questions once with the requested evidence, and wait for the formal result rather than opening duplicate tickets.
The strongest appeal is prompt, specific, and limited to facts the support team can verify. The official review—not a forum argument or a workaround—determines whether the restriction was applied correctly and what access, if any, can be restored.
