Identify exactly where the TTD booking failed
“The app is not working” can describe several different points in the process. The safest next action depends on whether the app cannot open, the booking form fails, a slot disappears, or payment has an uncertain result.

Recent Google Play reviews from August 25–26, 2026 include the phrases “Unable to process your request” and “Choose another slot,” along with reports of long queue waits and slots disappearing after details were entered. These are individual user reports, not an official outage notice, prevalence measurement, or explanation of the cause.
Verify that you are using an official TTD channel
Use the official app listing
The official Google Play listing identifies the mobile application as TTDevasthanams. It describes login with a mobile number and one-time password (OTP), and lists services such as Special Entry Darshan, accommodation and Srivari Sevas. The listing showed an update on August 27, 2026 and gives [email protected] for app support.

Check the developer and app name in the store rather than opening an installation or booking link sent in a message. An app that copies TTD’s name, logo or wording is not thereby official.
Navigate to TTD independently
For a website attempt, open your browser yourself and go to TTD’s official website instead of following a link from an unsolicited WhatsApp message, social-media post, email or unknown sender. TTD’s August 14, 2026 advisory says: “Make bookings for TTD services, Darshan and accommodation only through the official TTD website/mobile app.”
Never pay an intermediary to “unlock” a slot
TTD has warned that fake platforms and people claiming to arrange bookings have collected money from devotees. Its August 14, 2026 advisory reported that 259 fake websites had been identified and removed during the preceding two years. Do not send booking money to an unknown person, agent or social-media account, even if that person claims to have access to a quota that the official channel does not show.

If the TTD app itself will not load
TTD’s published material does not provide an app-specific reset procedure, supported-device matrix, guaranteed browser combination or universal outage status. Avoid presenting cache deletion, reinstalling, VPN changes or switching devices as TTD-approved remedies. You can still take low-risk steps that do not create a second booking or payment:
- Confirm that the installed app is the official TTDevasthanams listing.
- Close the failed session and reopen the official app once. If it continues to hang, do not repeatedly submit payment or personal details.
- Navigate independently to TTD’s official website and check whether the same service and your account are accessible there. Switching channels may provide access, but the available official information does not guarantee that the website and app share the same failure mode or that switching will fix it.
- If neither official channel gives you access, contact TTD using the ticket number or app-support address published by TTD. Explain whether the problem is a blank screen, a permanent loading indicator, an OTP problem or a booking-stage error.
Save a screenshot of the error, the time it occurred, the service you selected and the mobile number used for the account. Do not include or send your OTP or password to anyone offering technical help.
If login, the form or a slot fails
OTP and account access
The official listing describes mobile-number-and-OTP login. Enter the number associated with your TTD account and use only the OTP delivered through the official login process. If you cannot complete login, note the exact point of failure and ask app support for help rather than giving an OTP to a third party.

Booking details rejected
An error after you submit names, identity details or other booking information means the transaction did not visibly complete. First check the official account or booking history for a confirmation. Only when no completed booking is shown should you return to the official flow and enter the details again.

Slot disappears during the process
A slot displayed on screen is an offer of current availability, not a ticket. Demand can change while you enter details or reach payment. If the app says “Choose another slot,” treat that wording as a reported example of an app message, not a complete official error catalogue. Select another slot only after confirming that the first attempt did not create a booking.
Do not infer from a failed slot that your account is blocked, that TTD has cancelled all availability, or that a particular device caused the failure. The cited user reviews do not establish any of those causes.

If payment appears to have succeeded but no confirmation arrives
This is the point at which an immediate retry can create duplicate charges. Keep the payment reference, amount, date and time, bank or wallet status, service name, selected date and any on-screen message. Check the official TTD account and booking channel for a ticket or transaction record, then contact TTD before paying again.
What TTD documents for Srivani tickets
TTD’s May 16, 2026 statement about online Srivani tickets says allocation is first-come, first-served. It says the ticket is issued after successful payment, and that a ticket may return to the general pool if payment fails or TTD does not receive confirmation that funds were deposited. The statement describes a ten-minute delay in ticket issuance to allow tickets without payment confirmation to return to availability.

What is not established
The available official statements do not set a general payment-recovery timeline, guarantee when a failed transaction will be reversed, or provide one procedure that applies to every TTD booking. TTD support must verify the individual transaction and service category.

For ticket questions, TTD’s July 15, 2026 press release lists the call centre number 155257. The release quotes Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary: “For any queries related to tickets, devotees may contact the TTD Call Centre at 155257, where complete and authentic information will be provided.”
For app-specific assistance, the official app listing gives [email protected]. Use the channel that matches your problem, and be prepared to provide:
- the service attempted, such as Special Entry Darshan, accommodation, Srivari Seva or Srivani;
- the date and approximate time of the attempt;
- the mobile number or account identifier, without disclosing an OTP or password;
- the exact wording of the error and screenshots that do not expose sensitive credentials;
- the payment reference, amount and bank or wallet status if money was debited; and
- whether the official account shows a ticket, pending transaction, failed transaction or nothing at all.
Ask the representative to confirm whether a ticket exists before you attempt another payment. Keep the call or email reference for follow-up.
Prevent a duplicate charge or an invalid booking
- Do not press Pay repeatedly while a payment screen is still processing.
- Do not use a second person’s account to repeat the transaction until TTD has checked the first attempt.
- Do not rely on a screenshot of a payment page as proof of a ticket; look for the official booking confirmation or ticket record.
- Do not share card numbers, bank credentials, OTPs or identity documents with an agent who promises to repair the booking.
- Do not assume that a bank debit alone means TTD issued the ticket. Payment status and ticket issuance can require reconciliation by the official system.
A practical decision path
- Check the channel. Confirm that you are in the official TTDevasthanams app or an independently opened official TTD website.
- Classify the failure. Separate app access, login, form, slot and payment-confirmation problems.
- Check for an existing result. Review the official account or booking area before repeating details or payment.
- Use the official website as a cautious access alternative. This is a workaround, not a promise that the same booking will be available or that the underlying fault is shared.
- Escalate uncertain payments. Call 155257 for ticket questions or email [email protected] for app support, including transaction evidence.
- Reject intermediaries. If someone asks for money outside TTD’s official channels, stop the interaction.
What the available evidence can—and cannot—tell you
Official advisories establish the approved booking channels, the ticket-query number and the warning against unauthorized links and payments. The app listing establishes the app name, its described services, its OTP login approach, its August 27, 2026 update date and its support email. User reviews illustrate the kinds of messages and interruptions some people reported in late August 2026, but they cannot prove a system-wide outage, indicate how common the problem is, or identify its technical cause.
Because TTD does not publish a general app-loading fix, compatibility table, universal retry interval or all-service payment-refund schedule in the cited material, the safest response to an uncertain booking is verification through TTD—not repeated payment, unofficial assistance or assumptions based on a single error message.
