The best-supported route is to complete the Fragrant Dream chain: collect the required regional ingredients, obtain all ten perfumes, offer every colour at the Amethyst Tree on Tideblossom Coast, and finish the final interaction. Then use the current quest tracker to determine whether the reward objective has actually registered.
First, identify which “flower gift” you mean
Aniimo has more than one flower-related objective. Most players asking why the flower gift will not appear are referring to Egg Gifted from Flowers, a Prismatic-tier egg described in third-party walkthroughs as the reward for the Fragrant Dream chapter. The reproduced in-game description calls it “a gift from blooming flowers, given in return for offering ten colors of the world to the Vein.” That wording points to a ten-colour quest completion, not to a simple pickup at the first flower or tree you find.

If your tracker instead names Flowers and Thorns, use the separate troubleshooting section below. It is a different Journey chapter and does not use the same reward route.

How the Fragrant Dream reward is supposed to work
The walkthroughs describe ten regional sections. In each section, you generally locate a perfumer, obtain a region-specific ingredient, receive a perfume, and offer that perfume’s colour at the Amethyst Tree. The full set of ten offerings is the condition associated with Egg Gifted from Flowers.

The Amethyst Tree is on Tideblossom Coast. One guide places it about 268 metres from the Tideblossom Coast fast-travel array, but the distance can vary with your starting position and game version. Treat the in-game objective marker and interaction prompt as authoritative if they differ from a guide.
The tree marker should be read primarily as the hand-in location. Guides disagree about whether a nearby chest is involved in some versions, and one specifically warns against treating the marker as an early chest pickup. Do not abandon the quest because you cannot see an egg in a chest before all ten colours have been offered.
Check every colour and perfume
Use this table as a checklist against your current tracker. Names, objectives, or NPC locations can change between client versions, so confirm each entry in-game rather than forcing a guide’s wording to match your screen.

Two entries commonly cause confusion. The Argent Strait section is unusual because there is no item to pick up; the walkthrough says the green perfume is obtained by singing after the original perfumer is gone. Beast Fang Ridge is reported as locked behind the Warrior quest in Russet Highlands. If that region is unavailable, progress through the prerequisite rather than repeatedly searching the ridge.
The chain also spans real days according to the walkthrough. A delayed perfumer, locked region, or unavailable conversation may therefore be scheduled progression rather than a missing reward.
Step-by-step recovery checklist
- Open the active quest tracker. Confirm that the relevant entry is Fragrant Dream if you want Egg Gifted from Flowers. Record the colour, region, and objective currently shown instead of relying on memory.
- Audit all ten colour sections. Compare the tracker with the table above. Look for a section that still says to find an ingredient, speak with a perfumer, receive a perfume, or offer a colour.
- Finish the perfume interaction. Finding an ingredient is not necessarily the end of a section. Return to the named perfumer, collect the completed perfume, and verify that the quest text advances.
- Return to the Amethyst Tree. Travel to Tideblossom Coast and follow the current marker. Interact with the tree’s hand-in point for each completed colour. If a prompt is missing, move around the marker and check whether the tracker still identifies that colour as outstanding.
- Complete the final conversation or objective. Do not stop after the last visual offering. Wait for the final dialogue, interaction, or objective update to register, then reopen the tracker.
- Check the reward state. Look in the location specified by the current client—inventory, quest reward screen, or another explicitly marked interaction. Do not assume a chest is required solely because a guide shows one nearby.
For the tree hand-in, one guide describes the marker as the place where all ten colours are offered, while another warns that it should not be interpreted as an early chest pickup. The common, better-supported instruction is to complete the entire colour chain first and follow the live objective afterward.

What to do when one colour will not progress
The tracker still requests an ingredient
Revisit the region listed by the tracker and verify the exact item name. Several ingredients have similar flower or dew wording, and collecting a related resource does not necessarily satisfy the quest. After collecting the correct item, return to the listed perfumer and wait for the perfume objective to replace the collection objective.
The perfumer is not where a guide says
Use the tracker’s current NPC marker and region label. The table reflects a third-party guide, not a developer-maintained walkthrough. Bloomville is the listed location for several perfumers, while others are described as being on site. If the guide and your client disagree, the client’s active objective takes precedence.
The region is locked
Beast Fang Ridge is reported to require the Warrior quest in Russet Highlands. Complete that prerequisite and check the Journey or quest log for the next unlock. The chain’s real-day timing can also prevent an immediate hand-off even when earlier sections are complete.

The green section has no item
Do not search Argent Strait indefinitely for a green flower. The listed route says there is nothing to fetch: Zephyro is gone, and the player must sing for the Freedom’s Breeze perfume. Follow the in-game instruction if the current client presents a different interaction.

Flowers and Thorns is a separate Journey chapter. Its Rosetower continuation is described as appearing only after the Sea of Flowers section and its closing conversation are complete.
- Open the Journey Log and select Flowers and Thorns.
- Return to the Sea of Flowers chapter and complete every remaining objective.
- Finish the closing conversation; merely reaching the area may not count.
- Reopen the Journey Log and look for the Rosetower continuation.
Do not use completion of Flowers and Thorns as proof that Fragrant Dream is complete, or vice versa. They are separate progression paths.
When the tracker says complete but the egg is still missing
The available walkthroughs do not establish a universal fix for a situation in which all ten offerings, the final interaction, and the quest tracker are complete but Egg Gifted from Flowers is absent. In particular, there is no verified evidence here that restarting the game, clearing a cache, reinstalling the client, or using a particular support channel resolves the issue.
First capture the exact state shown by the current client: the quest name, completion text, final dialogue status, and any reward or inventory message. Then consult current, verified developer support information for your platform or server region. A guide written for an earlier version may describe a chest, timer, or interaction that has since changed, so provide the client version and region when asking for help.
If the tracker is not complete, return to the missing objective rather than treating the absent egg as a technical failure. The most common explanation supported by the walkthroughs is an unoffered colour, an unfinished perfumer exchange, the Argent Strait special step, the Warrior prerequisite, or a final conversation that has not registered.

- Searching for the egg too early: the tree is presented as a ten-colour hand-in, not a guaranteed early chest pickup.
- Counting ingredients instead of perfumes: each regional section normally requires the completed perfume and its offering, not merely the raw ingredient.
- Skipping the last dialogue: the reward condition may not register until the final interaction finishes.

For Egg Gifted from Flowers, complete all ten Fragrant Dream colour sections, obtain and offer every perfume at the Amethyst Tree on Tideblossom Coast, and finish the final objective. If the tracker still shows an incomplete colour, follow that step—including the Argent Strait singing objective and the Warrior prerequisite for Beast Fang Ridge. If the tracker clearly marks the chain complete and the egg remains missing, the available guides do not document a confirmed recovery procedure; rely on current in-game instructions and verified developer support rather than an unverified chest or technical-fix theory.
