If the Fallen Emperor gateway on Pendola Pass will not open, check the entrance prompt and your Emperor Gateway Conduit first. Guides report that the gateway requires one conduit; if you do not have one, you need its learned blueprint and one ARC Insulated Coupler, one ARC Conductive Coupler, and one ARC Plated Coupler to craft it at Workbench I. If you have the item but the interaction still fails, the available guides do not establish a confirmed bug fix.
Check what the gateway is asking for
At the base of the Fallen Emperor on Pendola Pass, interact with the gateway entrance and read its prompt. ARC Raiders Hub reproduces the requirement as “Unlock: 0/1 Emperor Gateway Conduit.” That indicates the intended access item; it is not evidence that a separate key or modulator is required. ARC Raiders Hub’s Fallen Emperor guide and MetaForge’s conduit guide describe the entrance and item requirement.

- If the prompt says the conduit requirement is unmet, make sure a conduit is in your own usable inventory and that you are interacting with the entrance.
- If you have a conduit and the prompt still does not allow access, see the troubleshooting section below; the guides do not document a verified repair for that case.
Craft a conduit if you do not have one
Recent guides list the same recipe: learn the Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint, then craft at Workbench I using one of each of the three couplers. Check the blueprint and every component before returning to the gateway. Dot Esports’ conduit guide and MetaForge’s guide report these prerequisites.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems| Prerequisite | What to check |
|---|---|
| Blueprint | Emperor Gateway Conduit Blueprint learned |
| Workbench | Workbench I |
| ARC Insulated Coupler | One |
| ARC Conductive Coupler | One |
| ARC Plated Coupler | One |
Look for the blueprint and couplers on Pendola Pass
Guides associate the blueprint and couplers with Emperor or Harvester Payloads during the Redirection condition on Pendola Pass. Their reported route is to use the Emperor relay or beacon and search the resulting payload. The sources do not give drop odds or guarantee that one payload—or one run—will supply everything, so expect the required parts to take more than one attempt. See ARC Raiders Hub, Dot Esports, and GamesRecon’s Emperor guide for the reported loot route.

For a quest run, check progression or squad access
TimeSaver reports that the Belly of the Beast quest follows Sizing Things Up. Its guide also says another Raider or squadmate carrying a conduit can open the gateway, so crafting your own may not be necessary for that run if someone else has the item. Treat this as a guide-reported option, not an officially confirmed rule: it depends on finding a player with a conduit, and the available sources do not establish that this works in every quest state. Read TimeSaver’s Belly of the Beast guide.
If you have a conduit but still cannot open it
The guides establish the intended item requirement but do not confirm why an entrance might remain unavailable when a conduit is present, or provide a tested fix. They do not establish whether the cause is a bug, quest progression, inventory state, or a game-version change. Avoid assuming that repeatedly crafting or farming will resolve an interaction failure.
