There is no verified evidence in the available sources that FitnessKPI logs exposed email addresses or other personal data. That does not prove nothing happened: whether an incident occurred, what information was involved, and who may be affected remain unknown. If you are concerned, verify the claim with FitnessKPI through its official website, then take security steps that match the data the company confirms.
What is known about the FitnessKPI claim?
A report dated October 5, 2026 said it could not verify that FitnessKPI denied a breach, confirmed that logs were exposed, or experienced the described incident. No attributable FitnessKPI incident statement or specific regulator finding was identified. The claim is therefore unverified, not confirmed false.

The available information does not establish whether an event occurred; which logs, systems, or people were involved; what dates or locations were affected; whether anyone accessed or copied data; whether credentials were present; or whether users were notified. Do not assume your FitnessKPI account was hacked or that a password was exposed based only on a claim about logs.

- Check for a dated notice. Look for a statement or direct communication from FitnessKPI. Do not use links in an unexpected email to reach the company.
- Contact FitnessKPI through its official website. Its contact page offers support/customer-success contact for existing clients and lists [email protected]. That page does not provide incident-specific instructions.
- Ask specific questions. Ask whether your account was affected; which information and systems were involved; the relevant dates; whether data was accessed or copied; whether passwords, tokens, or other credentials were involved; and what steps the company recommends.
- Keep the response. Save any company notice or support reply so you can follow the advice and refer to the confirmed details if you need further help.
What to do depending on the data involved
If only your email address may have been exposed
An exposed email address alone does not show that anyone accessed your email account or FitnessKPI account. Be alert for targeted messages, especially unexpected password-reset notices, links, attachments, or requests for passwords, verification codes, or personal information. Check suspicious messages through a known route, such as the service’s official app or website, rather than replying or clicking.

If a FitnessKPI password or other credentials may have been exposed
Change the affected password. If you reused it on other services, change it there too, using a different password for each account. Turn on two-factor authentication where available. These steps are appropriate if credentials or account access are implicated; they are not evidence that the unverified FitnessKPI claim involved passwords.
If your email account itself shows signs of compromise
Use the account provider’s recovery process and follow the Federal Trade Commission’s guidance for a hacked email or social account:
- Change the account password.
- Sign out of all devices and sessions.
- Turn on two-factor authentication.
- Review recovery email addresses and phone numbers.
- Check for forwarding rules you did not create, and inspect sent and deleted folders for unfamiliar messages.
- Warn contacts if someone sent messages from your account.
These measures address evidence of email-account compromise, not an email address appearing in a log. FTC: What to do if your email or social media account was hacked.
If financial or identity information was confirmed exposed
If FitnessKPI confirms that financial account data or a Social Security number was involved, use the FTC’s IdentityTheft.gov guidance for steps tailored to the information exposed. The FTC’s business guidance discusses fraud alerts and credit monitoring particularly in connection with higher-risk data such as Social Security numbers or financial account information. An email address alone is not a reason to assume you need credit monitoring, a credit freeze, or identity-theft remedies.

The FTC’s Health Breach Notification Rule can cover certain consumer personal-health-record vendors, related entities, and service providers that are not covered by HIPAA. The FTC says its 2024 amendments clarify the Rule’s application to many health apps and similar technologies; entities covered by the Rule must notify affected people and the FTC, and in some cases the media.
The available information does not establish FitnessKPI’s legal role, how data may have flowed through its systems, or whether this alleged event falls under the Rule. It is not possible to conclude from the claim alone that FitnessKPI is covered or that a notification duty has been triggered. See the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule.
