Before buying a racing wheel for Gran Turismo 7 on PS5, verify that the exact PlayStation version of the wheel is supported, then compare its in-game feedback and calibration, included pedals and accessories, mounting needs, and the total cost of your preferred setup. A model mentioned in an official game notice is useful evidence, but it is not a complete compatibility list.
Check compatibility for the exact wheel variant
Confirm that the specific product variant is designed for PlayStation 5 and that its manufacturer currently lists PS5 and Gran Turismo 7 as supported. Do not assume a similarly named PC- or Xbox-oriented version will work. Also check that the seller’s listing identifies the PlayStation model and the bundle you intend to buy.

The Gran Turismo notice dated March 21, 2023 addressed the Logitech G923: it said updates to PS4 system software 10.50 and PS5 system software 23.01-07.00.00, released March 8, 2023, included connectivity fixes and that the G923 should then function normally. This is model-specific evidence, not a guarantee for every wheel or variant. If considering it, look for the Logitech G923 for PlayStation and verify the precise version and current bundle with the seller.
Understand force feedback and GT7 settings
What the game supports
For the G923, Gran Turismo says GT7 uses the wheel’s TRUEFORCE function to reproduce engine and wheel-slip vibrations. The same notice says vibration strength can be adjusted in the game, and that connected wheel inputs and pedal sensitivity can be checked or calibrated in Steering Controller Settings. If feedback detail matters to you, check both the wheel’s feedback system and which controls the game exposes; a feature name on the box alone does not tell you how it behaves in this game.

Why update notes matter
Game behavior can change with updates. In Update 1.41, dated November 21, 2023, Gran Turismo listed a fix for vibration output when Vibration Strength was set to 130 or higher, naming the Logitech G923, Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel, and Thrustmaster T-GT/T-GT II. Those named models are evidence about the update’s scope, not a complete current compatibility roster.
Update 1.15 notes also described force-feedback adjustments and warned that very high Max Torque or Sensitivity settings could cause violent vibration on the listed wheels, with lowering the setting given as the remedy. Treat that as historical setting guidance, not proof of a present defect across all models. When setting up a wheel, start conservatively and adjust feedback in-game rather than assuming the highest value is best.

Product names do not reliably tell you what comes in a particular bundle. Before ordering, check the seller’s current listing and confirm:

The official game notices cited above explain compatibility and feedback behavior, not bundle contents or mounting fit. Confirm those details with the manufacturer and retailer rather than inferring them from a review or product family name.

Check space, total cost, and purchase terms
Assess where the wheel will be used before choosing a bundle. A desk may provide a workable mounting surface, while a separate stand or cockpit may be useful if it does not; no particular stand fit is established here. Add any desired shifter, pedals, stand, or other hardware to the wheel’s listed price to estimate the cost of the setup you actually want.
