What is actually confirmed about the “Strong Sell” rating?
The available MarketsMojo search result identifies a page titled “Shree Digvijay Cement Co. Ltd is Rated Strong Sell” and describes its analysis as based on company metrics as of June 3, 2026. That supports saying the page carried an equity-rating label; it does not establish when the rating was issued, what its target price or expected return was, how long it applied, or how MarketsMojo calculated it. An equity rating is an assessment of a listed share as an investment. A credit rating instead assesses the credit risk of specified borrowing or debt obligations. They use different scales and answer different questions, so one cannot be substituted for the other.

CRISIL Ratings downgraded Shree Digvijay Cement’s long-term rating to CRISIL A-/Stable from CRISIL A/Negative and its short-term rating to CRISIL A2+ from CRISIL A1. Why did CRISIL cite higher leverage?
CRISIL says the company entered a 10-year exclusive usage, supply and distributorship arrangement with Hi-Bond Cement (India) Pvt Ltd in fiscal 2026. A ₹400 crore security deposit linked to the agreement was funded primarily through ₹356 crore of term debt. CRISIL reported that leverage measures rose by the end of the fiscal year:

What do the audited FY2026 results show?
The company’s audited consolidated filing reports revenue from operations of ₹749.10 crore for the year ended March 31, 2026, up from ₹725.19 crore in FY2025. Consolidated profit for the year was ₹24.97 crore, compared with ₹25.19 crore in FY2025. For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, consolidated revenue from operations was ₹208.47 crore and profit for the period was ₹7.94 crore. CRISIL identifies offsets to the higher leverage and operating risks: the company’s established position in western India, stable scale, improved working capital and strong liquidity. Shree Digvijay Cement manufactures cement at Digvijaygram (Sikka), Gujarat. CRISIL describes installed capacity of 3.0 million tonnes per annum and says products are marketed under the Kamal brand. Its listed products include ordinary Portland cement, Portland pozzolana cement, sulphate resisting Portland cement, oil well cement and other special cements. These operating details provide company context; they do not, by themselves, determine whether the shares are attractive.

What should investors check before acting on the headline?
- Read the full equity-rating analysis and confirm its publication date, data cut-off, methodology, rating horizon and any price target before relying on the “Strong Sell” label.
