Samsung’s India product pages list six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for both the Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08. They give 30 September 2032 as the current end date for security updates, counted from each phone’s first global launch date. That date is a security-support listing—not a promise of monthly patches, same-day delivery, or a specific future Android version.
What support does Samsung list for the M08 and F08?
Samsung India describes both phones as eligible for six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from the first global launch date. Its pages currently list the security-update period as valid until 30 September 2032. The wording and date are the same for the two models, so the listed support policy does not give either phone an advantage over the other.

| Phone | OS upgrades listed | Security updates listed | Security-update end date shown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy M08 | Six generations | Six years from first global launch | 30 September 2032 |
| Galaxy F08 | Six generations | Six years from first global launch | 30 September 2032 |
These are India-market product listings. Owners of models sold in other countries should check Samsung’s support information for their exact regional model, because the India pages do not establish coverage or schedules for every market.

Not necessarily. Samsung states the OS commitment as six generations, but the product pages do not name the future Android or One UI versions. The six-generation figure describes the promised count of OS upgrade generations; it is separate from the security-update end date.

As a result, the wording does not support a reliable list of which Android versions either phone will receive. It also does not promise future feature parity or guarantee how well new software will perform on the phones.
What the 30 September 2032 date does—and does not—tell you
The date is the security-update validity date currently shown on Samsung India’s M08 and F08 pages. Samsung says the stated OS-upgrade and security-update policies are subject to change, so it should be read as the current published commitment, not an unconditional guarantee that cannot be revised.

An end date is not an update timetable. Samsung’s security information says release timing can vary by device version, model, or service version. The date does not promise monthly patches or that every eligible phone will receive an update on the same day.

How owners can check for changes
For the most relevant information, use Samsung’s page and support details for your exact model and country. Samsung’s Mobile Security Updates information explains that release timing varies and that support listings can change as support periods expire. Check those sources for current status rather than assuming that an India listing applies to a different regional variant.

Why older Samsung policy announcements may not match
Samsung’s earlier policy announcements described different commitments for select devices and product groups. In 2022, it discussed up to four generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades for select devices; a 2021 announcement described a minimum four-year security-update policy for Galaxy devices launched since 2019. Those announcements are historical context, not a replacement for the model-specific wording on the current M08 and F08 pages.

Samsung’s India product pages say a 25 W fast charger is sold separately. That is an optional-accessory note; it does not establish that every owner needs to buy one to use the phone.
