S-GAME’s official website gives October 29, 2026 as the release date, while both storefronts currently display October 28, 2026. The checked listings do not explain the one-day difference, so treat October 29 as the publisher’s primary date and verify your regional store listing near launch.
On PC, the published baseline is Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, DirectX 12, 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. S-GAME’s minimum target uses a GTX 1660 or RX 5500 XT for 1080p at 30 frames per second with upscaling; its recommended tier targets 1440p at 60 FPS with an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT. Separate ray-tracing and path-tracing recommendations name an RTX 5060 and RTX 5080, respectively.

Confirmed platforms and release date
The platforms confirmed in the official pages reviewed are PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The PC edition appears on Steam and the Epic Games Store, so players can choose either listed storefront. No official page checked confirms an Xbox or Nintendo Switch version. That does not prove those platforms can never receive the game; it means they are not among the platforms currently announced in the available listings.
S-GAME’s main website states October 29, 2026. Steam currently shows October 28, 2026, and Epic displays October 28, 2026 (10/28/26). The sources do not say whether the difference comes from regional timing, a midnight-release convention or another scheduling decision. Use the publisher date as the clearest general answer, then check the store page serving your account before preloading or taking time off work.

PC system requirements at a glance
S-GAME published four hardware rows in an announcement dated August 12, 2026. The first two are complete baseline configurations. The ray-tracing and path-tracing rows are mode-specific GPU recommendations only; they do not include a separate processor, memory or storage specification. Every target below includes upscaling, so the listed resolution and frame rate are publisher targets rather than independent laboratory results.

Shared requirements for the minimum and recommended tiers
Operating system
Both complete baseline rows require a 64-bit installation of Windows 10 or Windows 11. A 32-bit Windows installation is outside the published specification. The announcement does not identify a specific Windows build number, so keeping Windows Update current is the practical way to avoid an unsupported or outdated system environment.
DirectX
DirectX 12 is required for both the minimum and recommended configurations. Your graphics driver and Windows installation must support the DirectX 12 feature set used by the game; simply having a newer-looking GPU name does not guarantee that every required feature is available.
Memory
S-GAME lists 16GB of system RAM for both baseline tiers. It does not publish a lower-memory configuration. If your computer has 8GB, it falls below the stated minimum even if its processor and graphics card meet the named models. The mode-specific ray-tracing and path-tracing rows do not add a separate RAM figure, so do not interpret them as replacing the 16GB baseline.

Solid-state storage
An SSD is required. S-GAME does not state the minimum free capacity or the final installation size in the announcement. You therefore cannot calculate a safe download or install-space requirement from the published information. Leave substantially more free space than the eventual package size for downloading, unpacking and updates, but do not treat any particular capacity as an official requirement.
What each GPU tier is intended to deliver
Minimum: 1080p at 30 FPS
The minimum graphics options are a GeForce GTX 1660 with 6GB of VRAM or a Radeon RX 5500 XT with 8GB. Paired with the listed Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 and 16GB of RAM, S-GAME targets 1080p at 30 FPS when upscaling is enabled. This is a starting point for running the game, not a promise that every scene will hold 30 FPS on every system using one of those models.
The word “minimum” also does not describe image-quality settings, ray-tracing support or frame-time behavior in every area. The publisher has supplied a resolution and frame-rate target, but no independent test data, preset name or guaranteed worst-case result.
Recommended: 1440p at 60 FPS
The recommended pair is a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM or a Radeon RX 6700 XT with 12GB, alongside a Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X. With 16GB of RAM, Windows 10/11 64-bit, DirectX 12 and an SSD, the stated target is 1440p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled.

This row is the most useful reference for someone buying or upgrading a general-purpose gaming PC for Phantom Blade Zero. It is still a publisher estimate rather than a benchmark conducted by an independent tester. Actual results can vary with the selected quality preset, background applications, driver version, display resolution and the game’s final launch build.
Ray tracing: RTX 5060 reference point
For a ray-tracing mode, S-GAME names a GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB of VRAM and a target of 1080p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled. The announcement does not provide a mode-specific CPU, RAM or SSD requirement. The safest reading is that the shared baseline requirements remain relevant, while the RTX 5060 is the publisher’s recommended GPU reference for this rendering mode.
Because the row does not specify a quality preset, ray-tracing level or frame-time tolerance, it should not be read as a guarantee that every ray-traced scene will maintain 60 FPS. Upscaling is part of the stated target.

Path tracing receives the highest listed GPU recommendation: a GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB of VRAM. S-GAME pairs it with a 2160p (4K) target at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled. As with the ray-tracing row, no separate processor, RAM or storage configuration is published.

Path tracing is therefore a GPU-focused recommendation, not a complete standalone system specification. If you are planning a path-traced setup, use the 16GB baseline and DirectX 12 requirement as the known foundation, then wait for final settings guidance and independent testing before assuming a particular CPU or memory configuration will be sufficient.
Can your PC run Phantom Blade Zero?
Compare your system against the complete minimum row first. You need all of the following:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
- DirectX 12 support
- 16GB of system RAM
- An SSD
- At least a Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 class processor
- At least a GTX 1660 6GB or RX 5500 XT 8GB class graphics card
If one component is below that row, the published requirements do not establish that the game will run acceptably. A newer CPU can compensate for an older processor, but it does not make a below-spec graphics card, insufficient RAM or a hard-drive installation meet the official minimum. Likewise, a graphics card with more VRAM is not automatically faster than every card named in the table.

For a 1440p/60-FPS goal, compare your machine with the recommended row instead. The target assumes upscaling, so a native-resolution 1440p image at 60 FPS is not what S-GAME has promised. If you want ray tracing or path tracing, compare your GPU with the separate RTX 5060 or RTX 5080 recommendations and remember that the announcement leaves the rest of those configurations unspecified.

How to check your own hardware before buying
- Check Windows edition and architecture: Open Settings, choose System, then About. Confirm that Windows is 10 or 11 and that “System type” reports a 64-bit operating system.
- Check the processor and installed memory: In the same About page, read the processor model and installed RAM. Compare the exact model, not only the brand or advertised clock speed.
- Check the graphics card and VRAM: Open Settings, select System, then Display, choose Advanced display, and open the adapter properties. You can also press
Ctrl+Shift+Esc, open Task Manager and select the Performance tab to identify the GPU and dedicated memory. - Check DirectX: Press
Win+R, enterdxdiag, and review the System and Display tabs. Install current graphics drivers from your GPU manufacturer before launch. - Confirm the installation drive: In File Explorer, identify whether your intended game library is on an SSD rather than a mechanical hard disk. Since no official capacity is stated, keep ample free space and check the storefront’s final size before installing.
PS5 features and the PC-versus-console choice
The PlayStation 5 listing identifies DualSense adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, Tempest 3D AudioTech and PS5 Pro Enhanced support. These are features of the PlayStation version and are not PC system requirements. The available information does not provide a performance comparison between the PS5 version and any PC tier, so there is no evidence-based way to declare one platform faster from these specifications alone.
Choose PS5 if you want the console-specific controller and audio features without comparing PC components. What kind of game is it?
Official store descriptions present Phantom Blade Zero as a single-player wuxia action game. You play Soul, a warrior with 66 days left to live. The listings also describe more than 30 primary weapons and more than 20 Phantom Edges. Those details explain the type of experience being sold, but they do not change the hardware requirements or indicate an online-service dependency.

Important limits of the published specifications
- No SSD capacity or final installation size is stated.
- The ray-tracing row gives only an RTX 5060 8GB and a 1080p/60-FPS upscaled target.

- No independent benchmark or hands-on performance test establishes actual frame rates.

Bottom line for prospective players
Plan around PS5 or Windows PC; those are the currently confirmed platforms. For PC, treat a Core i7-8700K/Ryzen 5 3600, GTX 1660/RX 5500 XT, 16GB RAM, DirectX 12, Windows 10/11 64-bit and an SSD as the published minimum reference. A Core i5-10600K/Ryzen 5 5600X with an RTX 3060 Ti/RX 6700 XT is the recommended 1440p/60-FPS reference. RTX 5060 and RTX 5080 are the publisher’s separate ray-tracing and path-tracing GPU recommendations. Check the final storefront listing for your region because the official date and store dates currently differ, and expect the specifications to be refined as launch approaches.
