The word “Getty” in the name is not proof that Getty Images supplied or owns it.
Where the filename appears
A Motley Fool quote-page result for the Schwab International Equity ETF (SCHF) shows the exact filename, “NYSE Floor Trader Invest Buy Sell Options Stock Exchange Getty.png,” as an image label: Motley Fool SCHF quote page. A separate Motley Fool CME Group quote-page result shows a shortened form of the filename in its news listing: Motley Fool CME Group quote page.
Those appearances establish that the label is used on Motley Fool pages. They do not establish that either page contains the original image, identify the story for which it was used, or explain what the image was meant to illustrate.
What the name does not verify
A filename is not a reliable record of an image’s contents or ownership. The available page results do not identify a depicted person, confirm that the photograph shows trading activity, name a photographer or rights holder, or state a license. “Getty” is simply part of the filename; it is not sufficient evidence of Getty Images provenance or permission to reuse the image.
#1 Best Overall
No verified variants, editions, or products tied to this asset are established by these records. There is also no confirmed article placement that would show whether the image was used as a lead image or to explain a particular point.
How to verify the image before using it
If you need to identify or reuse this asset, treat the filename as a search clue rather than a credit or license. Verify the image against the original publisher record and obtain rights information from an authoritative source before publication.

- Locate the original asset. Check the relevant Motley Fool page and its image metadata or page source to see whether the exact file is available and attached to a specific article.
- Confirm the credit. Look for an explicit photographer, agency, or rights-holder credit in the original publisher’s record. Do not infer one from “Getty” in the filename.
- Check reuse permission. Find the license or written permission that applies to the actual image and intended use. A visible image or filename alone does not grant reuse rights.
- Keep the identification qualified until confirmed. If no authoritative asset record is available, do not describe the subject, creator, or rights status as verified.
