As of October 7, 2026, the next dated MCU release is VisionQuest on October 14, followed by Avengers: Doomsday in theaters on December 18. The schedule also includes projects with only a year attached and others listed without dates, so the calendar below separates confirmed full dates from less precise listings.
Dated MCU releases
| Release | Format and platform | Date status | What is confirmed |
|---|---|---|---|
| VisionQuest | Series; Disney+ | Dated: October 14, 2026 | Marvel says Paul Bettany returns as Vision and James Spader appears as Ultron. It describes the series as the final installment of the trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. Marvel’s announcement confirms the premiere date and platform. |
| Avengers: Doomsday | Theatrical film | Dated: December 18, 2026 | Disney’s film page lists the theatrical release date. |
| Avengers: Secret Wars | Theatrical film | Reported: December 17, 2027 | GamesRadar reports this date. The official Marvel or Disney schedule confirmation was not established in the sources available for this calendar, so treat it as provisional rather than a confirmed date. |
| Black Panther 3 | Theatrical film | Dated: December 15, 2028 | The Walt Disney Company announced the date. |
Projects listed for a year, but not a specific date
2026: X-Men ’97 season 2
Marvel’s TV directory lists season 2 for 2026, without a day or month. The directory is a catalog, not proof that every listed title belongs to the MCU’s live-action continuity; this animated series should not be treated as a confirmed MCU-canon entry on the strength of the listing alone.

2028: Ghost Rider
The Walt Disney Company says Marvel Studios announced a Ghost Rider film for 2028, but the announcement gives no exact date. Its 2028 timing is therefore year-only, not a dated release. See Disney’s announcement.

- Daredevil: Born Again season 3: listed without a precise date.
- Wonder Man season 2: listed without a precise date.
- Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2: listed without a precise date.
These are directory entries, not enough on their own to establish release timing or MCU continuity. The directory also contains past seasons, animation, and other material, so it should not be read as a complete list of future MCU-canon releases. Check the Marvel TV directory for its current listings; dates and availability can change, including by territory.

- Dated means an official Marvel or Disney source in this calendar gives a full release date.
- Year-only means an official announcement gives a release year but no exact date.
- Reported identifies a date carried by secondary coverage without official confirmation established here.
- Undated means the cited directory lists a project but does not provide a precise release date.
For planning, the full-date entries are the firmest schedule information. A year-only listing or an undated directory entry should not be read as a promise of a particular month, and Secret Wars’ reported date remains less certain than the dates on official Disney and Marvel pages.
