As they cross the installation, the survivors encounter the Covenant, who are fighting over Halo’s weapons and secrets. The official synopsis says that a threat from the ring’s underworld is also unleashed, turning an already chaotic military operation into a survival struggle for both humans and Covenant forces.
The premise therefore combines three elements: a recognizable point in Halo history, a character-led military journey and a horror threat beneath the surface of the ring. A character-level companion
