Why Luna access is different from a claimed PC game
Amazon’s Luna Terms of Use, last updated June 10, 2026, describe Luna Standard as a benefit for eligible Prime members and say it provides access to certain subscription digital content while the benefit is active. That makes Prime-included Luna access a membership benefit, rather than a permanent game claim. The terms also say the subscription content and specific titles may change over time and by location.

By contrast, Prime Gaming offers can send a PC game or reward to a different destination. Amazon’s claiming guide explains that some PC games use the Amazon Games app, while other offers use codes or linked publisher and game-launcher accounts. These routes have different account and offer terms, so the Luna rule should not be applied automatically to them.

How to check a game you already claimed
- Open the offer’s claim details. Find the instructions for the specific game or reward. Amazon says claim instructions explain how to access the content.
- Identify where it was delivered. Check whether it is accessed through Luna, the Amazon Games app, a code, or a linked publisher or store account.
- Check the destination library or account. For a redeemed code, sign in to the account where you used it. For an Amazon Games app claim, check the relevant Amazon Games account and library.
- Review the offer’s terms. Look for any requirements or limits that apply to that title or reward; do not infer its post-Prime status from a different offer.
Amazon says My Collection can show claim history, codes, and delivery status. Its claiming guide is useful for understanding the routes, but it does not promise a single post-cancellation outcome for every claim. Check current offer details for the game in question.

What Amazon’s guidance does—and does not—establish
Amazon’s public guidance distinguishes subscription access from games and items claimed through different delivery routes. It establishes that Luna Standard is a benefit available while active and describes how claims may reach the Amazon Games app or external accounts. It does not publish one universal rule saying that every Prime Gaming claim either remains playable or expires when Prime ends.
Availability can also change independently of your membership status: Amazon describes Prime’s Luna selection as rotating, and the Luna terms say content and titles may vary over time and by location. See Amazon’s Luna page for its current offering.
