New Denpa Men’s service ends on December 7, 2026, at 11:00 JST. Genius Sonority says it will refund the unused paid portion of in-game currency under Japan’s Payment Services Act, but the refund request window and instructions have not been announced. Paid-item sales ended October 5, 2026, at 11:00 JST. Until the refund process is complete, record your Support ID and keep the app installed with its data intact.
What happens to paid Jewels and other purchases?
After service ends, in-game data—including Jewels and items—will no longer be available. Genius Sonority recommends using paid Jewels before shutdown if you would rather spend them in the game. Its refund announcement covers only the unused paid portion of in-game currency; it does not say that free or earned currency, already-spent currency, or other purchased items will be refunded.

The publisher says the unused paid-currency refund will be made pursuant to Article 20, Paragraph 1 of Japan’s Payment Services Act. The request period, application channel, verification requirements, and payment method have not yet been stated. Genius Sonority says it will publish the procedure on its official website after service ends. Check its End of Service Announcement for updates.

These dates are stated by Genius Sonority. The paid items named in its notice include Jewels, Jewel Packs, Value Packs, Stamina Expansion Pack, and Create Pack; those sales have already ended.

What to do before and after shutdown
- Record your Support ID. Open Support from the app’s title screen and note the ID. It is required for a refund request and remains viewable there through March 31, 2027, including after service ends.
- Keep the app and its data. Do not delete the app or reinstall it on a new device until the refund procedure is complete. Genius Sonority says it needs the game data to verify inquiries.
- Decide whether to spend paid Jewels before December 7. The publisher recommends spending them before shutdown because Jewels and other game data will no longer be available afterward. If you prefer a refund, the announced refund applies to unused paid currency, but the process and timing are still pending.
- Check the official website for the refund instructions. The publisher has not yet set out a request deadline, form, or payment method, so do not assume one.
Does the game still work offline?
The official FAQ says the game’s main play requires an online environment; only Offline Catch can be played offline. The shutdown notice does not promise an offline version or continued access to the main game after December 7. See the official FAQ for the stated offline limitation.

The FAQ says paid currency cannot be transferred between Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. On Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, claimed Jewels and other in-game purchases are shared when players use the same Nintendo Account. If a paid item has not been claimed because of a connection issue, the FAQ says to claim it in the version where it was originally purchased. The publisher’s Nintendo Switch 2 release information provides platform context; it does not change the stated refund or shutdown terms.
