Some Final Fantasy XIV event rewards become unavailable when the event ends; others may return in a later run, be offered by an event attendant, or appear in the official Online Store. There is no universal rule that every missed reward will come back. The answer depends on the specific event and item, so check that event’s notice and search the current store catalog for the exact reward.
What “after the event ends” can mean
Two separate things matter: whether you can still do the event content and whether the reward is obtainable by some other route. A quest can close at the announced deadline even if an item from that event later becomes available another way. Conversely, the fact that an event returns does not establish that every reward from an earlier run is included.

Keep these possibilities distinct when checking a missed item:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- The quest is closed. You can no longer begin or complete the seasonal quest under the current event notice.
- The event returns. A later run may reopen content or offer selected prior rewards, but its notice determines what is actually available.
- Replay is supported. Some event notices describe a way for previous participants to resume or replay content. That does not establish a general replay feature for every event.
- The item is sold separately. Some seasonal items may be listed in the official Online Store, but availability must be checked item by item.
These are different routes, not interchangeable guarantees. The existence of one route for one event or item does not prove that another missed reward has the same option. Completing or replaying a quest is also not the same as confirming that a particular reward is included in a rerun: check the notice and its reward details.

In short, “the event is over” can mean the original quest opportunity has closed without answering whether an item might later return. “The event is back” likewise does not necessarily mean that the item you missed is available. Look for direct confirmation of the exact route and reward.
What official event examples show
Square Enix’s North American FINAL FANTASY XIV Lodestone notices available on October 13, 2026, illustrate how much the rules can vary. The examples below describe only the named events and notices.
| Event and notice | What it establishes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Make It Rain Campaign 2026 May 29–June 24, 2026 (PDT) |
The notice says seasonal quests cannot be completed after the campaign concludes. It also says certain items from previous iterations can be obtained from the campaign attendant. | It does not say that every prior reward is available from the attendant, or that the campaign’s rules apply to other events. |
| FINAL FANTASY XV collaboration notice for the run ending October 13, 2026 | The notice describes the run as identical to an earlier version and says players who completed the event previously can replay its quests using the seasonal event replay feature. The stated period ends at 7:59 a.m. PDT on October 13, 2026. | It does not show that every collaboration or seasonal event supports replay, or that the same deadline applies in every region. |
| Fall Guys collaboration 2026 notice | The notice says the collaboration will be held as a special event at irregular intervals after the current event ends. | That is not a predictable return schedule and does not promise that other events will return, or that all their rewards will be offered. |
The Make It Rain page is particularly useful for understanding the distinction between quest access and older items: it explicitly closes seasonal quests after the campaign, while also identifying some prior-iteration items obtainable from the attendant. Those statements can both be true. The attendant is a separate way to obtain the items it currently offers; it does not reopen the old quest or guarantee that every reward from every previous iteration is there.
The FFXV and Fall Guys notices demonstrate two different collaboration details. The FFXV notice describes replay for players who had already completed that event, while the Fall Guys notice says future returns will occur at irregular intervals. Neither example establishes a general schedule or a universal replay rule. The practical lesson is to read the notice for the exact event rather than infer a policy from a different one. Even two collaborations can have different replay rules or return plans.

How to check whether a specific missed reward is still obtainable
- Write down the exact event and item name. A mount, outfit, emote, furnishing, or other reward may have a different availability route. A broad search for “event rewards” is less useful than checking the named item. If possible, note the event iteration as well, so you do not confuse a prior reward with a reward introduced in a later run.
- Open the event’s official notice. Look for its start and end time, statements about quest availability after the deadline, rerun plans, replay eligibility, and any named attendant or reward inventory. Treat the published deadline as the end of quest access unless that event’s notice says otherwise. A notice may describe the quest period without making any promise about later availability.
- If the event is running again, check what the rerun actually offers. Confirm whether the notice says prior participants may resume or replay the content, and whether the particular reward is included. “The event is back” alone does not answer either question. A rerun might restore content, identify selected old items, or provide a replay option, but those details should come from that run’s notice.
- Check the event attendant when the notice identifies one. Confirm the exact item appears in the current attendant’s inventory; the Make It Rain 2026 notice, for example, refers only to certain items from previous iterations. Do not assume that an attendant exists for every event, or that an attendant’s stock includes every older reward.
- Search the official FFXIV Online Store or Mog Station for the exact item. An official announcement confirms that seasonal event items can be among optional items offered through the store. A current listing is the evidence that matters for a particular reward; do not assume an item is listed because another event’s item was sold. If the item is listed, review its current price and purchase details on the official listing; the examples here do not establish a fixed price or a price for any specific reward.
- Check the date and region on every result. Event periods and availability notices can be regional, and current event or store information can change. Make sure the notice matches your region and the date you are checking. An older announcement may accurately describe a past run but cannot by itself confirm that the event or item is available now.
These checks answer different questions, so it helps to work through them separately. The event notice tells you when its quest could be completed and whether a rerun or replay is described. The attendant’s current inventory answers whether that particular item can be claimed there. The official store catalog answers whether it is currently offered for purchase. Finding one route does not establish the others.
How to interpret the result
If the quest deadline has passed
When an official notice says seasonal quests cannot be completed after the event concludes, treat the quest as closed for that run. A future rerun, replay option, attendant inventory, or store listing would be a separate route; none follows automatically from the fact that the quest once existed. The Make It Rain Campaign 2026 notice makes this point plainly: “Please note that seasonal quests cannot be completed after the event has concluded.” Apply that statement to the named campaign, and check another event’s own notice for its terms.
If the event returns
Read the return notice for both eligibility and inventory. A notice may permit someone who already completed the quest to replay it, as the 2026 FFXV notice did, or it may describe selected older items available from an attendant, as the Make It Rain 2026 notice did. Those details are event-specific. A return announcement that does not mention your reward is not evidence that it is included.

Also note who the replay language covers. In the FFXV example, the notice says players who completed the event previously can replay its quests through the seasonal event replay feature. That is a specific eligibility condition, not proof that a player who missed the original event can use the feature in the same way. Follow the wording in the current notice rather than assuming replay is available to everyone.

If the event has no announced return
Do not assume it will recur on an annual schedule. The Fall Guys notice explicitly describes future special-event returns at irregular intervals; that wording gives no fixed date and applies to that collaboration alone. For another event, rely on its own official announcement rather than borrowing Fall Guys’ timing or return policy. If no return has been announced, there is no basis in these examples for predicting one.
If you cannot find the item in the store
The store route is confirmed only when the exact item is currently listed. An announcement that seasonal event items may be sold does not promise that a specific reward is offered, remains listed indefinitely, or will be added later. If the item is absent, the available evidence does not establish a store path for it; check for a relevant event rerun or attendant instead.
Likewise, a historic store announcement is not enough to establish current availability. Catalog listings can change, so use the present official listing for the item you are checking. If you do find it, treat the Online Store as a purchase option, not as proof that the original event quest can still be completed.

Timing and regional details to watch
Use the date and time printed in the relevant notice, not a remembered event period or a date copied from a different region. The cited Make It Rain 2026 campaign ran from May 29 through June 24, 2026 (PDT). The cited FFXV notice gives an end time of October 13, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT. Those figures belong to those North American notices; they are not universal deadlines for all players or events.

Also distinguish a scheduled rerun from a statement that an event may return. “Irregular intervals,” as used for the Fall Guys collaboration, is not a calendar commitment. Unless an official notice gives a date, the examples do not support predicting when another run will happen. Check the current official Lodestone announcement for the region where you play, especially when a deadline is near.
Availability can change across time as well as between regions. A page announcing that a campaign ended remains useful for understanding that past run, but it does not guarantee that its attendant or store route remains available indefinitely. Confirm that any result you find is current before planning around it.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What you can conclude about a missed item
The official examples support several possible paths—an event return, replay of particular content, selected older items from an attendant, or an official store listing—but do not establish that any specific missed reward will use one of them without item-specific confirmation. The most reliable answer comes from matching the exact reward to the current official event notice, attendant inventory, or store listing. If none identifies it, its future availability is not established by these examples.
There is no published statistic in the cited event notices that can turn these examples into a probability that a reward will return. They are announcements of particular rules and dates, not a promise or schedule for all past rewards. For a practical answer, verify the event, the item, the route, and the current date rather than relying on what happened with a different campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still get an FFXIV event item after the event ends?
Possibly, but there is no universal rule. Some items from past iterations may be offered by an event attendant, a collaboration may return, or a seasonal item may appear in the official Online Store. Check the exact item and current event or store information; a route available for one reward does not guarantee one for another.
Can I complete a seasonal quest after its event ends?
Do not count on it. The Make It Rain Campaign 2026 Lodestone notice states that its seasonal quests cannot be completed after the campaign concludes. Treat the deadline in the notice for your event and region as the cutoff unless that event’s own notice says otherwise.
Will FFXIV limited-time events come back?
Some do, but return plans and timing are event-specific. The 2026 Fall Guys notice said that collaboration would return as a special event at irregular intervals, which gives no fixed schedule and says nothing about other events. Check the official notice for the event you missed.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Can I replay a seasonal event quest if I already completed it?
Sometimes. The FFXV collaboration notice for the run ending October 13, 2026, says players who completed that event previously can replay its quests using the seasonal event replay feature. That example does not establish that every event supports replay, so check the current notice and its eligibility rules.
Are old seasonal rewards sold on the FFXIV Online Store?
Some seasonal event items may be offered as optional items, but that does not mean every reward is sold or remains listed. Search the current official Online Store or Mog Station catalog for the exact item and check its listing and price there.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: An event’s announced deadline may close its quest, but it does not settle whether a particular reward can be obtained another way. Verify the exact item in the current event notice, attendant inventory, or official Online Store. Reruns, replay eligibility, attendant stock, and store availability are all event- or item-specific.
