Unlocking all 30 Cursed relics in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies completes the collection and reportedly awards the animated Best Friends Camo. The relics do not provide a permanent stat boost. Instead, they are challenge debuffs that you select before a Cursed match; collecting more potent relics lets you start higher tiers and unlock stronger purchases during the run.
What you get for collecting every relic
The 2026 guide from AllThingsHow Staff places 30 relics across four playable Cursed maps. Each relic is earned by completing its dedicated trial. Rex Infernus has no relic in this collection, so completing the set means finishing the trials attached to the four Cursed maps that contain them.

A community video guide reports that completing all 30 unlocks the animated Best Friends Camo. That cosmetic name has not been confirmed in the official Activision material identified for this feature, so check the in-game challenge tracker after the final trial; a later patch could change the displayed reward or label.

The collection itself is the milestone. Owning every relic does not automatically activate every effect, apply a permanent debuff, or grant a standing gameplay bonus in ordinary Zombies. You decide which relics to equip when setting up a Cursed match.

How relics change a Cursed match
Relics are negative modifiers. Their potency contributes to the Tier power of the match, and equipping more difficult relics can qualify the run for a higher starting tier. The trade-off is straightforward: stronger rewards require surviving more punishing conditions.

The figures above are the reported tier rewards, not a guarantee that simply owning the corresponding relics deposits currency or equipment into every match. The benefits become available through the relevant Cursed setup and trial progression.

Grim: the entry challenge
Grim is the Tier 1 target and is tied to a Round 20 trial. Its reward package adds an early high-end purchase option: a Golden Armor wall-buy, plus 45,000 points once Level 3 armor has been reached.

According to AllThingsHow Staff, Sinister trials require every Grim relic and a Tier 1 setup. Reaching the Round 40 milestone unlocks access to Ultra weapon rarity and a reported 17,500 salvage reward when starting from common rarity.

Wicked: the highest reported tier
Wicked trials require a Tier 2 setup, making them the most demanding of the three reported levels. The Round 60 milestone adds Pack-a-Punch Level 4 and a reported 100,000 essence reward after Level 3 Pack-a-Punch.
What happens if you equip all 30?
Equipping every relic creates an extreme Cursed configuration rather than a secret permanent mode. Each selected relic adds its own debuff, while the combined potency raises the match’s Tier power. In practice, an all-30 loadout is useful for players deliberately chasing high-tier trials, not for routine farming or relaxed public matches.

- Difficulty rises with the loadout: the relics are designed to make the run harder, and more potent effects push the tier upward.
- Rewards are tied to the tier: higher-tier purchases become available when the setup meets the required power and progression conditions.
- Collection and activation are separate: unlocking a relic adds it to your selection menu; it does not force its effect into your next match.
- Plan around team strength: a full set may be manageable for coordinated co-op groups but is a poor choice for an unprepared solo attempt.
For solo play, start with the lowest tier needed for the next trial and add only modifiers you can reliably survive. In co-op, assign roles before loading in: one player can focus on damage and crowd control while another protects the economy needed for armor, rarity and Pack-a-Punch purchases. The tier system rewards a deliberate difficulty-versus-reward decision, not simply selecting every box.

The Ashes of the Damned nine-relic milestone
The launch article from Call of Duty Staff says Ashes of the Damned contains nine relics. Windows Central’s Richard Devine reported on January 14, 2026 that the final Ashes relic is Samantha’s Drawing, a Tier 2 relic.

Completing Samantha’s Drawing’s trial awards the relic. If the other eight Ashes relics are already unlocked, finishing it also completes the Ashes-focused Reliquary calling-card challenge. That is a separate milestone from collecting all 30 relics across the four-map collection.
The reported effect is unusually disruptive: “Every weapon the player has will swap each round, but retain the Pack-a-Punch and rarity level.” You keep the investment in upgrades and rarity, but your available weapon changes at the round boundary. Treat that relic as a loadout-planning problem rather than a conventional damage bonus.
What the all-30 reward does not mean
- It does not permanently increase health, damage, armor or salvage.
- It does not apply all 30 debuffs to normal Zombies matches.
- It does not automatically grant every tier reward without meeting the tier’s setup and progression conditions.
- It does not make the Best Friends Camo an officially confirmed reward label; that name remains based on community reporting until the in-game tracker or an official update confirms it.
Bottom line for collectors and challenge players
Collect all 30 relics if you want the reported animated Best Friends Camo, a complete Cursed relic menu and the ability to build high-power challenge runs. Equip them selectively when you need to reach Grim, Sinister or Wicked objectives. The permanent benefit is collection progress and access to options; the gameplay impact occurs only when you deliberately choose those debuffs before a Cursed match.
