To make a useful comparison, match the handset, benchmark and settings, then use CPU tests for CPU performance, graphics and stress tests for gaming clues, and a separately described battery test for endurance.
Are Exynos benchmark scores important?
They are useful when you know what was tested. A phone’s score reflects a specific workload on a specific handset, with its own cooling, display, memory, software and power settings. It is not a universal rating for the processor, nor a complete measure of everyday responsiveness.

For example, Tom’s Guide’s 2025 reviews report different results for the Galaxy S25 FE, equipped with Exynos 2400, and the Galaxy S24 FE, equipped with Exynos 2400e. The S25 FE scored lower in Geekbench 6 single-core testing but higher in multi-core and graphics testing. That is a reminder to compare each category separately rather than treating one number as a verdict. Tom’s Guide’s Galaxy S25 FE review
What do CPU benchmark scores tell you?
Geekbench 6 reports separate single-core and multi-core scores. They represent different CPU workloads: single-core results are relevant to work that relies more heavily on one core, while multi-core results indicate performance across multiple cores. Neither translates directly into a guaranteed app-loading time, gaming frame rate or battery runtime.

| Phone and review sample | Geekbench 6 single-core | Geekbench 6 multi-core |
| Galaxy S25 FE, Tom’s Guide (2025) | 2,142 | 7,066 |
| Galaxy S24 FE, Tom’s Guide (2025) | 2,161 | 6,386 |
| Galaxy S26 FE, TechRadar (2026) | 2,361 | 7,831 |
These are review results for the named phones, not standard scores every handset with the same chip should achieve. Benchmark versions and test conditions matter, so comparisons are strongest when both phones were tested with the same version and method. Geekbench describes its workloads in its Geekbench 6 workload document.
Do graphics scores show how well an Exynos phone games?
They offer a clue about graphics performance, but a result belongs to its named test. Tom’s Guide reported 92.59 fps in 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited for its Galaxy S25 FE sample and 86.63 fps for its Galaxy S24 FE sample. TechRadar reported a 10,526 score in 3DMark Solar Bay for its Galaxy S26 FE sample. These are different tests, so their values are not directly comparable to one another or to a game’s frame rate. - Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.

Some graphics tests emphasize capabilities—such as ray tracing—that a particular game may not use. A high graphics score therefore does not guarantee high frame rates at a chosen resolution and quality setting in every game. For a practical gaming comparison, look for results in the same game, at the same settings, on the exact phones you are considering.

A short or peak graphics result cannot show whether a phone maintains performance during a long session. Repeated-load stress tests provide a better indication of how performance changes under sustained work, although they still do not predict every game. Check the exact test and phone, and look for measured game frame rates and temperatures where available.

TechRadar’s 2026 Galaxy S26 FE review reports 5,116 as the best and 3,456 as the low result in its 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test. The gap shows why a best score alone leaves out information about repeated runs. It remains a result for that review’s handset and test, not a guaranteed gaming outcome for all Exynos 2500 phones.
Is Exynos fast enough for gaming, and what do Samsung’s graphics claims mean?
Whether a phone is fast enough depends on the game, graphics settings, desired frame rate and how well the particular handset handles sustained heat. Samsung says the Exynos 2400 includes an Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD RDNA 3 and supports ray tracing. Samsung also describes fan-out wafer-level packaging as a thermal-management improvement, claiming 23% better heat resistance in single-core operation and 8% in multi-core operation compared with its previous packaging type. Those percentages are Samsung’s claims about packaging, not independent measurements of phone temperatures or proof of sustained frame rates. Samsung’s Exynos 2400 product page

Samsung describes Exynos Neural Super Sampling (ENSS) as a system that lowers internal rendering resolution and then uses neural resolution reconstruction (NSS) and neural frame generation (NFG). This can change the rendering workload and apparent smoothness; it is not the same as rendering every frame natively at the display’s full resolution, and it does not guarantee the same result in every supported game. Samsung describes the Exynos 2500’s Xclipse 950 as based on AMD RDNA 3, with improved rendering speed and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. That is manufacturer positioning; for a purchase decision, pair it with independent results for the specific phone. Samsung’s Exynos 2500 product page

Do Exynos benchmark scores predict battery life?
No. CPU and GPU scores do not convert into hours of battery life. Runtime depends on the entire phone and how it is used, including the display, network conditions, workload, software and power settings. Use a battery drain test with its settings stated, or real-world results collected using the same method.
In Tom’s Guide’s battery drain test, with adaptive display mode on, the Galaxy S25 FE averaged 9 hours 46 minutes and the Galaxy S24 FE averaged 11 hours 38 minutes. The reviewer suspected the S25 FE’s Exynos 2400 contributed to its result, but this comparison does not isolate the chip from differences between the complete phones. It does not establish that the processor alone caused the difference. Tom’s Guide’s Galaxy S25 FE review
Samsung CPU project leader Wookyeong Jeong put the design challenge this way: “Achieving a high performance with a limited power budget is key,” he said in a 2022 Samsung newsroom explainer. Jeong also said that using big, mid and little CPU cores in suitable combinations is important for efficiency across different situations. Those statements describe design goals, not a runtime result for a particular phone. Samsung’s 2022 CPU explainer

Why does my Exynos phone score differently?
Results can differ because the score belongs to a particular handset and testing setup, not just a chip name. Relevant variables include the phone’s cooling and chassis, software and power policy, benchmark version, and whether the test measures CPU, graphics or repeated-load performance. A comparison between two different phone models cannot isolate the processor unless the other conditions are controlled.
- Match the exact phone model and, where relevant, its regional chipset variant.
- Match benchmark name and version, and compare CPU single-core, CPU multi-core and graphics results separately.
- For gaming, check the same game, settings, frame-rate results and any available temperature measurements.
- For endurance, compare battery tests using the same method and stated display, network and power settings.
- Treat vendor specifications and packaging claims as manufacturer claims, distinct from independent phone tests.
The available examples do not establish a universal Exynos-versus-Snapdragon winner across regions and generations. A fair verdict requires comparing the exact phones and conditions relevant to your choice.
