In Heartopia guides, Moonlight Crystals are associated with premium items in the Acorn Store and other premium systems, while Wishing Stars are associated with special purchases such as furniture and clothing. They are separate currencies, but the exact items, prices and rules can change; check the current in-game shop before spending either one.
What Moonlight Crystals are used for
The unofficial guide Heartopia.guide describes Moonlight Crystals as a currency for premium items in the Acorn Store and some other premium systems. Its description gives a broad category, not a confirmed, up-to-date catalog. Check the Acorn Store and any relevant premium menus in your game to see what is currently offered and what each item costs.

What Wishing Stars are used for
Guides associate Wishing Stars with special purchases. Heartopia.guide names furniture and clothing; another unofficial guide also lists hairstyles and recipes. Those categories are not a verified current item list, and the available guides do not establish reliable prices. Look at the live in-game shop for the items available to you.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

| Currency | Where guides say it is spent | What remains unconfirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Moonlight Crystals | Premium items in the Acorn Store and some premium systems (Heartopia.guide) | Current catalog, prices and earning sources |
| Wishing Stars | Special purchases, including furniture and clothing; a second guide also lists hairstyles and recipes | Current catalog, prices, earning sources and whether event restrictions apply |
These are guide-level descriptions, not confirmation from an official Heartopia source. The available information does not support a complete catalog or a definitive comparison of the currencies’ value.

Do Wishing Stars expire?
One unofficial guide claims Wishing Stars are tied to seasonal festivals and expire when an event ends. That expiration rule is not confirmed by an official source in the available information, so do not assume either that stars will disappear or that they will carry over. Check the event screen or in-game currency details for the current rule before deciding whether to save them.

- Open the relevant in-game shop or event screen and confirm which currency the item requires.
- Check the displayed price and whether the item is currently available; guide descriptions do not establish a live catalog.
- If you are holding event-associated Wishing Stars, look for an explicit expiration or carryover notice in the game rather than relying on an unofficial guide.
