What Airlines Use Gogo Wi-Fi? Current Delta Details and the Historical Airline List

Gogo has provided inflight connectivity to many airlines, but old partner lists are not a reliable guide to which aircraft use it today. Delta currently calls its service “Wi-Fi Onboard (formerly Gogo),” and its 24-hour pass applies to Gogo-equipped U.S. domestic flights—not necessarily every Delta flight. Check the specific airline’s current Wi-Fi information and the onboard portal for your aircraft and route.

Which airlines have used Gogo Wi-Fi?

Gogo has a substantial history in commercial airline connectivity. In a January 2014 announcement, the company named Aeromexico, American Airlines, Air Canada, AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways, and Virgin America as inflight connectivity partners. This is a historical list, not a current roster of airlines or Gogo-equipped fleets. AirTran, US Airways, and Virgin America are included because they appeared in that dated announcement; the list does not imply they operate today as independent airlines.

Gogo’s 2019 annual report later named Delta, American, Virgin America, Alaska, US Airways, Frontier, and AirTran among long-term commercial airline relationships. It also described trials on a small number of United and Air Canada aircraft. Those disclosures are historical context, not evidence of present-day service on an airline’s fleet. Gogo’s January 2014 announcement and its 2019 annual report document those earlier relationships.

Does Delta still use Gogo?

Delta’s current onboard Wi-Fi page calls its service “Wi-Fi Onboard (formerly Gogo).” Delta’s terms also describe a 24-hour pass for Gogo-equipped U.S. domestic Delta flights. Together, these details establish that the Gogo name and equipment remain relevant in some Delta service contexts; they do not establish that every Delta aircraft uses Gogo.

Delta’s terms state: “Use of the Wi-Fi Onboard (formerly Gogo) In-Flight Internet service is subject to terms of use available at wifionboard.com.” Check Delta’s onboard Wi-Fi page and the 24-hour pass terms for current service and eligibility details.

Are other airlines changing Wi-Fi providers?

Yes. Airline systems and provider arrangements can change as aircraft are equipped or upgraded, so a past Gogo relationship does not establish which service is available now. Alaska Airlines says it is rolling out Starlink Wi-Fi during 2026. Its connectivity chart was updated September 25, 2026, and the airline says it is refreshed monthly. That rollout information is time-sensitive: consult Alaska’s connectivity update for the latest aircraft-specific details.

How to check whether your flight has Gogo Wi-Fi

  1. Check the airline’s current Wi-Fi page. Look for the service name, eligible routes or aircraft, and any provider details. An airline-level description may not apply to every plane.
  2. Review the access terms for your trip. Confirm whether a pass or account is needed and whether the flight falls within its geographic and aircraft limits. For example, Delta’s 24-hour pass terms specify Gogo-equipped U.S. domestic flights.
  3. Check the onboard portal on the actual flight. The network name and portal can help confirm which service is available on that aircraft. Follow the airline’s instructions to connect.
  4. Recheck close to departure when a rollout is underway. Fleet installations change over time, and current aircraft-specific information is more useful than an old partner list.

Do not infer a provider, connection availability, speed, or price from an airline’s name alone. Aircraft, route, rollout status, and access terms can all matter.

What Gogo sells today—and what its performance figures mean

Gogo’s current product information is aimed at aircraft operators, particularly in business aviation. Its ATG service is described for owners and operators who fly predominantly in North America, with coverage across the contiguous United States, parts of Canada, and Alaska. Gogo also offers Galileo aircraft systems using low-Earth-orbit satellite connectivity. These are aircraft-installed systems and operator services, not consumer routers or accessories a passenger can buy to access an airline’s Wi-Fi. Gogo reported that its 2025 5G air-to-ground test campaign involved more than 30 flight-testing hours across almost 20 routes, with test results above 80 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload. Those are company-reported test results, not typical or guaranteed speeds for airline passengers. The figures do not establish the performance of a particular commercial flight. Gogo’s 2025 announcement describes the test context.

In a 2026 release, Gogo said it had shipped more than 300 Galileo FDX and HDX antennas and that 99 were activated as of December 31, 2025. The release describes FDX as the larger option for large jets and HDX as a smaller form factor. These are business aviation deployment figures, not counts of commercial airline aircraft. Gogo’s year-end product update provides the dated figures.
