A 1/7 scale anime figure represents its character at roughly one seventh of a reference size, but the label does not tell you the finished figure’s exact height or shelf footprint. Use the specific product listing—especially its height and whether that measurement includes the stand—when planning display space.
What does 1/7 scale mean for anime figures?
The fraction describes a nominal proportion: each dimension is represented at one seventh of the character’s reference size. For example, dividing a 170 cm reference height by seven gives about 24.3 cm. That is a scale illustration, not a promised manufactured height. A figure’s pose, sculpt, stand and product-specific design affect its listed dimensions.

How tall is a 1/7 scale figure?
Official Good Smile Company listings show why it is important to check each figure rather than assume a standard height. These are examples, not a complete survey of manufacturers. Heights are approximate where the listing says so; the stand qualification is included where specified.

The listed heights span approximately 210 to 300 mm in these four examples. That observed range is not a rule for all 1/7 figures, and the measurements are not directly comparable where stand inclusion is unspecified.

Are all 1/7 scale figures the same size?
No. The scale label describes a proportion, not one fixed finished height. Characters have different reference dimensions, and poses, sculpts and stands can change the product’s overall height. The Good Smile Company examples above range from approximately 210 mm for Rem to approximately 300 mm for Zero Two, with stand inclusion specified for some listings and not others. They do not establish a universal cross-brand tolerance.
Will a 1/7 figure fit on my shelf?
Check the exact figure’s maximum dimensions against the shelf’s usable space. Height alone does not capture the space required by the base or by parts that extend sideways or forward. The cited listings do not provide a consistent set of base-width and depth measurements, so there is no standard 1/7 base size to rely on.

- Read the product’s listed height and whether the stand is included.
- Check the base width and depth in the listing if they are provided.
- Review product images and specifications for wide hair, props, extended arms or a leaning pose that may project beyond the height measurement.
- Compare those dimensions with the shelf’s internal clearance, and leave room above the tallest point.
Good Smile Company cautions on its Frieren listing that “Some specifications may differ from the actual product.” Use the latest product details and allow clearance rather than assuming a prototype image or earlier specification guarantees the final fit.
